Oh, and this blog is kept afloat by the tip jar buttons below. Just sayin’.

…indigenous practices…
That should read “Indigenous Ways Of Knowings” per all the usual style sheets…
Meh. It’s the UK. And city people. If God didn’t want them sheared, he would not have made them sheep.
Great googly moogly, they have lost whatever tiny minds they had..
“Instead of a halftime show, we’re gonna do a hug time show,”
You don’t say.
Doordash: at my local grocery store, you can get prepared meals like lasagne, mexican, chicken parma for $7 each or sometimes 3 for price of 2. Frozen pizza on sale for $10 each (bigger than most people can eat). Friday bucket of wings for $10. If you are really pressed for time sometimes, have some of those on hand.
I hired a middle aged guy to do programming. He seemed off but whatever. He admitted to me he could not cook and got takeout for every meal (bad enough) and was borrowing money from elderly parents to pay for it. ugh. Could not program and had to fire him in a week…because his references lied.
Stupid, dumb, worthless, idiot, dumb, useless…did I already say useless?, moron conservatives…again.
Upthread:
Accompanied by diametrically opposite fawning/fetishizing of Black thug culture…
Gotta hand it to those Marxists…
That cognitive doublebind has produced more cerebral hemorrage than Trump’s new discumbobulator raygun… and much more cultural and social damage.
I’m curious…we all make mistakes but what was the thing that made you overlook the “seemed off” thing? Were you boxed in requirements wise or were the other candidates just as bad?
April came early this year.
Well, the fools at least.
Outsourcing and remote work are getting out of hand.
A short thread on trying to convey a simple reality. I can empathise, having had similar discussions.
“However bad Donald Trump is …” It’s not that DT is ‘bad’ it’s that he’s not a Democrat anymore.
Part of the problem with beginning a discussion with leftists by try to appease their open hate of Trump by “hey look, I don’t like him personally either” is not realizing that EVERYONE who is not of their group is the enemy.
I’m old enough have lived through, as an adult, every President from Nixon on (cast my first vote in 1972) and EVERY Republican candidate for President (and every GOP President) was that era’s “Just like H-tler”. And it had no connection to the personal character of the man — for pity’s sake, one of the most scandal-free, personally decent candidates was Romney (regardless of policy squish) and he was savaged by media. Joe Biden stood in front of a black audience and claimed Romney, if elected “will put you back in chains”. He wasn’t joking.
The issue has never been Trump’s character; the issue is always that no GOP elected official is acceptable. Ever.
Democracy is only democracy when they win — by any means necessary.

Now if only John Cleese could disagree without despising us.
The proper way for police to deal with arsonists is “shoot on sight.”
Change my mind.
WTH Canada?
Someone’s been watching Mae West movies.
Oh, look at the date:
