That is the county charges. I don’t know how the USAF deals with such things, but in the military she still would have to contend with Articles 113 & 133 of the UCMJ at a minimum.

I opt for a weight-balancing arrangement, whereby eggs are distributed so as to avoid the carton being overly weighted at one end.

This. I saw one once with a young woman who was a SovCit, but clearly not quite sure about it, and one of the nicest cops on the planet. He explained, very politely and patiently, that her choice was between taking the ticket (which she could fight later in court) and going on about her day, or winding up in jail immediately with felony charges. There was a 2 or 3 second pause while you could see her wavering, tempted by the allure of sweet, sweet sanity, but then off the deep end she went.
