Apparently, if you’re ethnically English, you’re not supposed to mind, or indeed notice, the implications of what is so vividly underway.
I recently saw several videos of Irish people just walking through their neighbourhoods or filming from their own windows in grim disbelief. Neighbourhoods that are now alienating and rapidly being terraformed into something not unlike third-world slums. Where communication is all but impossible and familiar values cannot be assumed.
Some of the videos include unattractive sentiments. But attractive or not, one can hardly be surprised. Their anger is warranted.
Like something in Lovecraft.
Heh. Does have an air of the uncanny. From what I can make out, and less ominously, it’s a giant banner that was being taken aloft by a hot air balloon, but which snagged on something and tore loose.
This kind of thing.
Big snow is the best snow.

In a detail that I think only came out recently, the Algerian who stabbed children in Dublin after being turned down for welfare payments he thought was entitled to was heard to say “shit fucking Irish” on the way to committing the attack. So he was motivated to kill/maim Irish people specifically (or as the media calls it, “randomly”).
In seeking an Irish victim, he didn’t stab himself or another brown man, even though, in a detail that was widely published/tweeted within hours of the attack to stick it to the racists, he’s just as Irish as anyone in Ireland and has the papers to prove it. Maybe he wanted to hurt the first Irish child he came across, which in north central Dublin has a good chance of being been black or brown. What, are you racist? Is he racist? He sought out probably the only school in the area which, because classes are taught through the Irish language, still looks like Ireland.
When this invader says “fucking shit Irish”, he recognizes a distinct people, and when says he’s an Irishman, he doesn’t mean he belongs to that people or wants to. he means he has a set of legal claims against them in their own homeland. No respect, just contempt, acted out sometimes through the violence of the state and sometimes through direct violence.
In their media and politics, European people have been told that race officially doesn’t exist and genetic lines officially don’t matter: as long as there are homo sapiens in your latitude/longitude in 2100, you should be indifferent if it’s your descendants or Mohammad’s. On the streets, even the stupidest invader knows how to distinguish European people ethnically and what will do them the most damage as peoples. Which raises the question of who’s stupid in a Darwin Award sense.
I know supposedly nice and respectable people who consider themselves kindly and enlightened, terribly caring, but who have seemingly zero knowledge of – or interest in – what their supposed piety entails for others, generally for people who live in neighbourhoods less fashionable than those of the self-imagined pious.
And yet it takes seconds to find videos by – for instance – Irish people who find their Sunday mornings being enlivened by shouting African migrant men, roaming outside, entirely untroubled by local proprieties. Or mothers trying to explain to their children why there are a dozen or so Africans setting up an encampment in the street a few feet from her front door, and explaining why playing outside is no longer an option.
You can just search X for “Ireland immigration.”
The degradation underway is hard to miss, yet I’m not seeing the BBC rushing to report these everyday degradations, the actual cause of the social friction, despite them being numerous and an obvious basis for outrage. They will, however, report the fits of belated, angry pushback.
And the pious souls mentioned above do watch, and trust, the BBC, like all good pious people.
I don’t think I have felt more sorry for a child before its birth.
I have questions.
I live in Dublin and you cannot believe the changes forced on this place by willing and complacent politicians over the past decade.
Five years ago there was a massive 4-story poster on the side of a university building of a fat, black woman – strangely not advertising Calvin Klein underwear – with the tag line “Training Future Leaders” or something to that effect. What does that say to the Irish? Can you image a similar poster of a fat, white woman appearing on a university building in Nairobi or Lagos? Hardly.
Most people are familiar with Piddlington and its potential invasion. Three or four years ago my eldest was on a uni club trip to the west of Ireland – think beautiful scenery but mostly empty bar the occasional small town or village – and he texted that the tiny village they’d gone to was chock full of Syrians. They absolutely outnumbered the locals even with the large student contingent.
And whenever the media, subsidised by government handouts, mentions it at all it’s with approval for the diversity, which makes Ireland all the stronger, apparently. As for the violent assaults, rapes, and murders, well that’s just part and parcel of living in the world today.
I vacillate between thinking I’m taking crazy pills and hoping the violence kicks off while I’m still strong enough to take part – and fearing that it never will, and this is our new normal.
The reality is so perverse, so ruinous in its trajectory, I can almost see why some people are trying desperately not to notice. As if it might just go away.
The people on whom this is being imposed most directly, despite their emphatic disapproval, don’t seem to count, at least not among the pious, except as inexplicably racist bogeymen. People who are supposedly being angry for no reason whatsoever.
Pious, preening clowns like BBC broadcaster Dan Snow, mentioned here, who denounces as “stunningly racist” any reservations about the ongoing demographic terraforming.
Again, you’re not supposed to mind, or indeed notice, the implications of what is so vividly underway.
It was, in a way, refreshingly honest when a local Unitarian church decided to rebrand itself as a Unitarian society.
Laughing *and* angry.
“Excess condensation” usually means improperly maintained air conditioning: Failure to replace air filters, keep coils clean, maintain refrigerant levels, etc.
It reminded of the maddening volume controls featured here previously.
For enthusiasts of bad UIs, I do have more.
Oh, and we mustn’t forget Hostile Volume, a game about terrible controls.
Regarding ethnicity, it seems almost entirely only yte English and Welsh crims are in prisons, it must be so because newspapers are never biased.
I kept trying to find what was different from actual 11.
Turning it up to 11.
I’m pretty sure they’re supposed to be dead at this point. Morally speaking.
The first sighting of snow, especially big flakes and weirdly quiet, can be quite pleasing, even now. Hereabouts, after the first, deep snowfall, it does resemble Narnia.
Though if you need to go somewhere, it can be a bit of a shitter.
Then this was surely rigged to fail.
Still getting incoming traffic from the American Osteopathic College of Radiology.
Still no idea why.
I am an infrequent visitor to this blog from Canada and recently completed a 10 day trip to the Republic of Ireland. While riding the buses in Dublin on a couple different days, I remarked on what seemed to be a LACK of African migrants or muslims; most everyone i saw seemed of European ancestry. This was in distinct difference to my trips to London and Italy, where Africans were everywhere.
Is the irish immigration problem possibly exaggerated or were these just random days of whiteness?
Official figures are somewhat opaque or entirely absent, so far as I can see. It’s difficult, for instance, to determine what percentage of the 6,000 or so people with no right to be in Ireland and given orders to leave in the last year have actually left, despite being deemed officially unwelcome.
I’d imagine that new arrivals of a problematic kind will be fairly concentrated in particular towns and areas, and for a more nuanced picture, you’d have to ask a local – say, Quetzalovercoatl, in this thread, or one of the unhappy natives on X. I’ve read that some small towns in Ireland – including Ballyhaunis and Gort – now have levels of enrichment approaching 40%.
On a second attachment there were multiple plants playing different instruments, each in a single video. I started the videos at the same time and the computer mixed them. Quite an interesting tune.
Had they asked me, I could have just walked in, shot her in the head, and walk out.
In many ways, the CCP is more humane. You don’t know when, you don’t know where – just one day you’re being escorted down a hallway in a routine manner and one bullet delivered execution style. Because that is what it is, an execution. It seems to me that the quicker, the less trauma to the prisoner.
Once upon a time I could enjoy such a thing at face value. Now when I see pretty much anything that I would previously have considered slightly cool, I can’t help but think…fake.
So musically …Last night we went to a jazz concert at our nearby liberal arts college. We have been going to these sorts of student productions for about ten years now and the quality has been noticeably declining. Last night sounded like something you would expect from a group of eighth graders. Meanwhile, the most prominent of the 25 or so students in the band, a sax player who had a barely passing solo, who was seated front and center (the “director” sits in the back and plays the drums) was making the most over-the-top, snapping fingers/face contortions like this was the most awesome jam, daddy-o! Snap, snap, snap! It was so fake. Embarrassingly so. But they got a standing ovation. Wife and I were about the last people to eventually cave into peer pressure and stand up. Sad to admit it but at some point it just gets too uncomfortable.
Thanks for that, barkeep.
The third part has been featured here before. And the series on the French and Russian Revolutions, linked in the post, may also entertain.
Someone once somewhat famously said, “If you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”
No worries, these things have ways of taking care of themselves.

Meanwhile,
I don’t think she has quite thought this through.
Another day in The Big Windy.
I had a case with an outcome like this – the court outcome, not the murder-suicide – where Mom got slammed by the custody evaluator, who recommended supervised visitation. I represented Dad. What Mom did was coach the 5-year-old son to say that Dad raped him and even when it was clear what she had done, she would not back down with her story. Great outcome – she eventually just gave up and the child has not heard from her since he was seven. He graduated college with honors and is now the 4th generation working in a thriving family business with his father.
So why did this woman in the story lose custody? Bitches be crazy.
And yes, it is custody cases like this that end in tragedy that divorce attorneys and family law judicial officers fear happening.
Some people struggle to conceive of just how degenerate the degenerate can be. And yet, there are creatures walking among us, in unprecedented numbers, for whom the words human being would be a merely technical term and inaptly flattering.
And now you know why I prefer to photograph doggies.
Also, as a good little
republicanconservativerepublican who believes in the free market, of course, of course, but obviously is caring and understanding about socialist policies and thus in complete agreement with making compromises with socialism and finding a “third way” so we can all just get along, I look forward to the day when choosing a groceries provider is a simple and easy as signing up for Medicare and choosing a supplemental insurance provider./sarc
