Again, this is a big problem. Bigger than is generally accepted, especially by conservatives. That and the MSM are what have driven the Narrative that is causing the mental health meltdowns that we are seeing. It’s a big part of what I am seeing in my sister-in-law’s meltdown. Her perception of reality is based on chic lit and popular movies. Yet she’s probably not the kind of person you think of when I say this. She’s not obsessed with it. We rarely discuss books outside of casual references. But when we have discussed “non-fiction”, it is clear that she has had her perceptions warped by fiction such that she cannot see the obvious fiction in so-called non-fiction. I find this to be true in most of my leftist (generally former) friends. Because they get so much information from reading books and watching movies and have little interaction with hard realities, their entire worlds are crumbling right now.
Netflix’s The Frankenstein Chronicles did this, but since all the black actors were playing poor or criminal characters I was honestly confused for a moment about whether the characters were also supposed to be black. It’s an excellent production marred by this battery of Russian artillery distracting from what’s going on.
It is pretty hilarious that a bunch of people who never heard of USAID in their life are now protesting and calling for the arrest of Musk. They got their marching orders from corrupt pols whose ox is being gored.
Oh and head of teacher union is saying eliminating dept educ is illegal. Darling, it was created by exec order and can be ended the same way. At my kids high school they got dinged because with 98% of kids at or above grade level they could not show improvement. Idiots.

And to think I worked full time as an IT consultant some 60 to 90 minutes from home (depending on Los Angeles traffic) while attending law school at night – and even managed to have a child during that period of my life.
