Steal From Them, Not Me
Lifted from the comments, a worldview in snapshot form:
I filmed a liberal activist trying to retrieve her iPhone back from the homeless that possibly stole it. She encouraged them to sell anything they steal from “rich scum” but that she’s “nice” and “honest” and needs it back. She told @tarafaul503 and I she won’t call the police pic.twitter.com/STzxXlyDNY

You see, they’re only supposed to steal from “rich scum.” Not nice people. Say, nice progressive women who are, like, totally cool with the robbing of others.
Consider this an open thread.
Because lack of empathy for all is a sign of a ‘good person’?
Needless to say, Little Miss Righteous didn’t get her phone back.
Hard to know who to root for.
And for those who missed it, another collision of worldviews.
I suppose the idea is to make shrill, obnoxious noises and generally behave in an unnerving way so that the actual victim will drop the matter and allow Miss Meltdown to continue being selfish and antisocial, and to continue screwing over others.
Despite the tears and wailing, it looks a lot like a temper tantrum: “How dare you expect me to behave like a responsible adult? I hate you!”
Best reply: “She doesn’t seem to want to sleep in the sheets she shat in.”
Portland. Natch.
The video above reminded me of an incident from a few years ago, when I was standing outside the entrance of a supermarket and checking my phone for the whereabouts of the taxi I’d booked. A rough-looking woman in her early twenties, obviously a junkie, approached and asked if she could borrow my phone, which seemed to interest her a great deal.
I pointed out that if she needed to make a call, the enquiry desk just inside the supermarket door, maybe six metres away, would most likely oblige. Her eyes moved from the phone to me, and we exchanged a look of, shall we say, mutual understanding.
Needless to say, her disappointment didn’t result in her walking the six metres to the enquiry desk, where a call could have been made. Instead, she wandered off looking for other prey.
In yet another collision of worldviews, it is unfathomable why the Harris team failed to connect with real people.
What percentage of people are just evil Pakleds?
(I just noticed that I can’t be logged-in at home and at work. Apparently.)
Not smiling then?
On her part, something closer to cold hatred.
The whole thing was a little surreal. The mismatch of words and body language was quite memorable.
In yet more collisions of worldviews, one thing Bluesky has done is create a self-segregating midway of leftist psychopathology that charges no admission. Libs of Bluesky is a brave soul indeed.
The transautistic show off their flag. (Yes, people pretending to be autistic)
Yes, but what about the pedophiles?
Lady sings the blues.
A bonus – en verdad, this may be an actual piss take, but these days, who knows?
