Leo: just what attracts every man–hairy tits. urgle barf
Truth.
Not nearly far enough away.
clackety clack: how everyone used to walk before shoes were invented…needs to be an olympic sport
Jeebus, did no one tell him to expect recoil or were those unexpected magnums?
I took someone to the range once and he scared the shit out of me putting the King Cobra up too his eye to aim (like a kid might do).
Yes. Everyone’s an informer!
Well it definitely increases the visibility of stupids and allows them to gather and coordinate (not to mention be manipulated).
The time to stop such nonsense is at the outset, so punching is strongly advised pour encourager les autres.
Today’s satire is tomorrow’s received wisdom.
I believe I have pointed out before that this statement was made by Dr Shelley Haley, the presumably self-proclaimed “Cleopatra expert”, who inconveniently is not actually an Egyptologist.
She is however an earnest proponent of assisting in the rehabilitation and enhanced self-respect of black criminals by convincing them that they are all (you know what’s coming) the descendants of Kangz.
“Cleopatra was culturally black,” apparently.
I see, so also black are Jews, Celts, Indians (both types), anyone in land overrun by Genghis Khan, Poles, the Red Army at Stalingrad, and damn near every other group on the planet at one time or another.
Yes, Everyone’s an informer.
IMHO the only genuine anarchist is in many ways the most sympathetic character, certainly the most honest.
In short, “culturally black” = “loser”.
The authors of the New York Times piece, both of whom are of course scrupulously ‘liberal’ white women, repeatedly invoke “black culture” while failing to define in any remotely meaningful way what that might be, and while implying that this (undefined) “black culture” is some uniform constant across continents and throughout all of human history.
It calls to mind a certain woke and gleefully racist librarian, and her emphatic disdain for “white men ideas,” which, in her mind, have been entirely interchangeable with no local variation.
Good News Everyone!
San Francisco having solved all it’s numerous problems has appointed it’s first drag laureate!
Don Rickles raided Mitzi Gaynor’s wardrobe.
Back to the spirit of ephemera…
Mrs. Doubtfire, and other African movie posters.
My God, that’s horrible in multiple ways.
Which reminds me of someone who spent many years in Africa and proudly filled her house with African art, art which ranged from mediocre to bad.
“Cleopatra was culturally black,” apparently.
From the comments … this is my shocked face.
White liberal women. Again.
I should have been more clear: NOT traditional tribal art, but rather crap for tourists. “Ooh, look at this elephant carved by an actual person of color!” It’s interesting how people who supposedly know about art and literature will abandon all standards for the sake of ideology.
“Walking into random houses” for shits and giggles. What could possibly go wrong?
The “don’t do this in Texas” comments on Twitter are already working within the framing that the white backlash (or anticipated white backlash) is more concerning and more real than the black aggression it’s responding to. Indeed, that’s the pretext for the youths to invade the white people’s space – that it’s a provocative social commentary on white hatred and paranoia.
Normal streetwise prudence tells us that strangers who flout social norms and overstep boundaries are testing you to see if you can be imposed upon in escalated ways. Racially aware streetwise prudence tells whites that even if they engage race-neutrally with blacks, that blacks don’t engage race-neutrally with them. What’s a white to do here? Override your prudence: get taken advantage of. Take reasonable precautions, assert your boundaries, and no physical violence takes place: this proves that your fears were racist paranoia and you’re the Karen in this week’s shitstorm. And if physical violence takes place, if it’s reported at all it will be as an “altercation” with an insinuation that you provoked it by using the n-word.
Over the years, the weird racial hang-ups of white, middle-class progressives, very often women, have provided so much material for this blog.
No refunds. Credit note only.
Now you tell us.
Here I am, at all hours, bringing you the wonders of the world…
Because decades ago, before the internet was a regular person thing, we had television and radio and movies and all those other tools to perpetuate ideas. But the idea that “there’s no such thing as bad publicity” was a new, distinctly stupid idea. For decades before that we had all that media as well. We just didn’t accept bad publicity as a “good” thing.
who, like a savage, kept keys and coins in the same pocket as his phone.
See, this is why cargo pants were invented–large side pockets, one for your phone, one for your wallet. No danger of sitting on either. Easy access unless you have T-rex arms. Cargo pants, short on form, long on function. Make Cargo Pants Great Again.
This message brought to you by the Society to Rehabilitate Cargo Pants.
Now you’re just screaming.
I must admit I’m oft left wondering.
I do so like Theodore Dalrymple:
Underserved: In Somalia, the warlords took down power lines for the copper, so now entire regions have no power. dindu nothin
Close enough.
Remember, you’re the racist.
It strikes me that an objective test for “delusional” is that some guy can look in the mirror, see these faces from the vids, and say he is “cute”.
Cleopatra culturally black: Except for the blacks in the upper nile area (who only ruled Egypt for a brief period–look it up), who were culturally egyptian (they built tons of pyramids for example), Egypt was totally cut off from sub-saharan Africa except for the rare caravan. Culturally black my ass.
Not the time for shaky legs, madam.
It strikes me that an objective test for “delusional” is that some guy can look in the mirror, see these faces from the vids, and say he is “cute”.
Likewise clowns like this who think they won.
Was at the U of Montana 3 yrs ago for a workshop. There was a display up about their “diversity” goals. They wanted to recruit X black people as students to “represent’. Looked up the racial makeup of the state–they would have to enroll every black man, woman, and child of any age and still come up short. That is how white Montana is. No recognition of their absurdity.
What about those Wakandan maglev monorails cross-crossing Africa… you racist?
‘Culturally black.’
As if black culture around the world is of a piece.
If you think of the ever-growing “diversity” and “equity” apparatus as a kind of coping strategy – a way to avoid thinking about certain unmentionable factors – then the irrationality, the neuroticism, the imperviousness to evidence, become easier to understand.
What’s a white to do here?
As witness. Short version: white woman pays for a CitiBike (and has the receipts to prove it), gets accosted by ferals who demand the bike, attempts to assert her rights, gets smeared as a “suspected white supremacist” and mobbed and fired from her job.
Was just doing a search around some university science department web sites. Every single black faculty in an actual science role I saw had an african name (and I don’t mean those fake african names). I have heard but cannot verify that African immigrants look down on US blacks. I think the inner city culture causes actual stupidity. Something about embracing loserdom.
More the public school system. Living in a rural/suburban area the ignorance of the victims of the local school district is a source of constant amazement.
A loserdom that is actively cultivated by ‘progressive’ educators.
Thing is, if you cultivate the conceit of a Designated Victim Group and exempt its members from normal proprieties, including expectations of competence, civility, and reciprocation, and tell its members that almost any kind of difficulty or failure, and almost any personal shortcoming, can only be damning evidence of enemy action, of racism or some nebulous “white supremacy,” then the result will not be gratitude. A contemptuous sense of entitlement and resentment, expressed with increasing boldness, seems more likely.
And the effects of this cultivated dishonesty on those outside the Designated Victim Group will be no less monstrous.
An escalation has occurred.
