High On Malevolence
Video here, via Darleen. Because recreational sociopathy is very in right now.
Anything else is an excuse, of course, a lie. The rationalisation – that trashing another random restaurant and menacing its customers, people about whom the aggressors know nothing, will somehow usher in a brighter, more fragrant tomorrow – can be dismissed as ludicrous and self-flattering, a moral non sequitur. But look carefully at what these self-imagined warriors for “social justice” choose to do – repeatedly, by default. See their go-to solution, their way to fix the world.
Because that’s what it’s about.
Update, via the comments:
As noted before, if someone’s preferred form of activism is to harass and bully random strangers, while feeling enormously self-satisfied about their own imagined radicalism – and while clearly exulting in mob domination – then this tells us very little about any issue supposedly animating them. Again, it’s a moral non sequitur and rather like saying, “I’m troubled by the plight of the Javan rhinoceros, so I’m going to start spitting at the elderly and keying random cars.”
It does, however, tell us just how narcissistic and spiteful these creatures are. And how low a priority their wellbeing should be.
See how they enjoy it.
They just like bulling people.

On the flip side, “wokeness”, really resembles the ritual self-abasement and humiliation of fraternity/sorority hazing.
Perhaps a corner is being turned?
An executive order of note.
When your thoughts offend me your words are violence; when my violence offends you it is my freedom of expression; when you question or criticize my acts or my motives you are repeating your violence, proving your intransigent nature.
I’m afraid I have some bad news. There are many, many similar bullies, mask-shamers, control freaks, control opportunists on the right as well. Especially in the health care domain. Granted, it’s not as immediately violent but my sense is that the ones on the right sense that they don’t have the degree of potential to rule that those on the left do.
What I sense is that we have a fundamental sociological problem here that goes well beyond politics. It’s an inability for humans to process how little we actually know relative to our amazingly accelerating technological progress. Politics is (are?) just the most visible manifestation of the problem. When you look at the loooong arc of human history, never has so much power and wealth been so rapidly created and distributed across such a large percent of the population so rapidly. Never has so much information about this change been so widely distributed. The great irony in this, again JMNSHO, is that this is all happening mostly unconscious to those who think they know so much. I have a sneaking suspicion that this also ties into the high functioning autism that we are seeing so much of as well.
For anyone curious, just past noon here in Corona, CA and the temperature is currently 105F/41C. Peak temp won’t be until about 3pm.

7:52, 72F. Going down to 57F. As I tell my cousin who’s a GA boy…
Come listen to a story bout a man named Ted
Hard working engineer barely kept his family fed
One April doing taxes put him in a nasty mood
He looks out the widow, sees his neighbor sunbathing in the nude
Tranny xe was. Piercings. Tattoos…
After talking to his cousin about moving back to the east
“We got lots of jobs, California gonna fall into the sea
Get yer butt back to Georgia where you never shoulda left
It was all a big mistake, folks back here all thing yer daft”
Fruit and nuts. No place for a man.
Well even though Ted was almost a miillionare
Costs so much to live, their clothes were all thread bare
Said to his family California just ain’t the place for to be
So he sold his crappy Prius and bought an SUV
Big Tires, Four by Four.
Y’all come back now, ya hear?
Peaked at 104F here in La Mirada, CA (‘Accuweather’ was predicting 109) today. Tomorrow the prediction is for 111, so it’ll probably hit 105.
Lighting a candle to St. Willis Carrier.
Hmm, 66/19C at peak and down to 50/10C about now. Been a nice day, coolish wind but warm in the Sun. It is sometimes nice to live in a temperate climate. Of course is late winter here and it has been rather cooler at times.

Why Trump Doesn’t Just ‘Send In the Troops’
‘What do the troops actually do? Patrol? Got to wait on our vehicles. Do they go arrest looters? For what? If the looters violate federal law – like crossing a state line to riot – that’s easy. You hook them up, turn them over to the federal cops and the US attorney prosecutes them. But what if they commit a state crime, which most routine crimes are? In LA ‘92, we grabbed a crook and handed him over to the LAPD and he went to jail and got prosecuted. But the Portland police will be ordered not to cooperate. Moreover, the Portland DA will not charge them, much less prosecute them.’

The anti-FA* clown left flaming footprints as he ran from the fire. They must have been using some sort of homemade napalm or something.
