Attention, ladies. You may now beckon him into your changing rooms and gush with feelings of sisterhood.

It’s not just a Wiki editor: they do this all the time — credit Islam with EVERYTHING.
I should add that Al-Battani was by all accounts a good astronomer and compiled tables used by later astronomers, including Galileo. But, unsuprisingly, he had zero knowledge of inertial frames and spacetime curvature.

Meanwhile, on Reddit.
Note that only “regular commenters in good standing” are permitted to reply. All other attempts at discussion “will be removed by automod.”
You are clicking left-to-right. It’s an Israeli newspaper so back button works right-to-left…. seriously, it’s an English page hosted on a major Israeli newspaper site and there are still glitches. The commercial popups that festoon most media sites probably don’t help.
Let’s just check in on the Green Party.
Okay then.
In 853, an Islamic doctor invented the world’s first condom by use the anal sheath of a goat. In 1743, an English doctor improved on this by taking the sheath out of the goat first.
Yet another thing that should have been bloody obvious. When wiki became a thing, while I found it very useful for certain often rapidly changing technical knowledge/reference/opinion as it exploded in use as a reference for historical fact, especially anything remotely political, it clearly was becoming a tool of the political left. For all the time and money “conservatives” spend on think tanks and propaganda, the potential of wiki was mostly ignored. Such common vulgarity is beneath them. Well the so-called leaders anyway. Regular conservatives schmucks do the only real work there, which often is easily squelched by funded wiki editors.
Careful, dear, they punch back.
It’s confusing. At any given time, credit for a particular invention is claimed by:
a. Muslims
b. Indians (or South Asians for you Brits)
c. African-Americans

RIOT!
I feel the need for a bookmark.
It would, I should think, be a terribly polite riot.
“No, after you.”
Thank you. Very much appreciated. Not sure why my internet search didn’t turn up that link.
But why do you say PITA? It displays just fine for me.
Bring back corporal punishment. And expulsions.
I still have a lot of trouble with that right-to-left. My muscle memory just won’t cooperate with what my mind knows.

Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world
So … ‘motherf—er’ is right out then?
And a lovely bookmark it is, if a bit out of place among the empty crisp packets and upset pint glasses. And half-full bottles of mineral water.

I remember the afternoon when they had only 43 choices of peanut butter.
I still wake up screaming.
Slow-motion walking down corridors
Listen, sunshine, you’d walk over hot coals to look this good.
In my early years of user interface development, it was a human factors initiative to flow information, button display organization, from the top left down to the bottom right. Especially search boxes at the top right. These days, aside from the English text that inherently flows that way, search boxes and buttons can be just about anywhere.
Then there’s my personal pet peeve, presenting the user with a yes/no question and two option buttons of OK or Cancel.
Nonsense, it is well known that everything was invented in the Soviet Union after they stole from blacks who invented it first.
Actual claims of Islamic invention, however, can mainly be traced to guys like Maimonides who inconveniently for the narrative were Jewish.
One giant tiny typeface text block.
The beehive is always tasteful.
I think the Democrat focus on “affordability” is hilarious because they are the ones who impose high property taxes, high gas taxes, high income taxes, make health care expensive, restrict housing supply. They are the ones (like in DC, NYC, Chicago) who will not let Walmart open a store in city limits.
And in cooking news:
Because it can be done.

DID WE LEARN NOTHING FROM JURASSIC PARK?!

Well, futter me – jammy eggs are a real thing, and have nothing to do with jam. They are, apparently, the Goldilocks of boiled eggs, and how I actually prefer them (when boiled). I have accidentally made my breakfast eggs like this a few times, but never consistently. Now that I have a new search term, the internets have delivered myriad techniques to try. To the lab – er – kitchen!
Thanks, @David!

TWO JAMMY EGGS WITH TOASTS AND JAM.
I’ll put it on your tabs.

Hot or cold?
Wouldn’t it be more appropriate to climb the highest tower in Gaza?
Well, sure, why not, makes perfect sense, what could possibly go wrong?
Wot? No bqked beans?
Or even ‘baked’ beans. Toast spread with Marmite, I hope;
Jam and Marmite, together at last.
The horror! The horror!
Reality TV is so common because it’s ridiculously cheap to produce and it gets enough eyeballs to pay for itself and a bit more. My impression of the BBC actually-make-something reality shows is that contestants tend to be reasonably normal. I do wonder if the popularity isn’t that it’s one of the few bits of BBC programming where viewers can see something that actually looks like Britain.
By contrast, the Canadian version of the same shows are all-in with The Message – on any given season there will be one native, a majority of the contestants will be non-white/Asian, a third of them will be obviously gay, and all of them will be incredibly emotionally fragile.
