I used to know someone who smoked American Spirit, but he extolled its “authentic Native American” qualities. [ Shrugs ]
from the comments:
Good.
.
Lucky vs. unlucky
No mention of Chapman.
[…] “authentic Native American” qualities.
‘Are they made from real Girl Scouts?’
Also includes the words ‘chew through more crayons than they write with.’
A deftly wielded walking stick seems indicated.
Go forth and … not like that.
That poor cat.
So I just had to watch “sweaty” just to see that cat. Mind you, it looked happy enough.
Cop didn’t actually use any pronouns. Does it know what that word means?
Firm but fair.
Morning, all.
“The clearest view of a man is from below.”
Sorry, still laughing.
Modernity, baby.
I could be persuaded to give the wave fabric ceilings a go.
I knew it. I’ve become an influencer.
[ Screams into void. ]
Clue.
The last time I spent any length of time in England was 1984.
People were doing this then, some had tables & chairs.
(the car is an ADO16 Austin/Morris 1100/1300 or an Austin America to anyone from the USA)
Now trying – so far unsuccessfully – to find a version of the Pink Panther theme that’s very close to the original recording but extended and in which the woodwind take over for a section. The flutes just glide. Used to play it in the car, but now can’t find it.
Further to this, on those supposedly “temporary” Diversity Barriers.
The ones still here, a decade later, and multiplying in number.
One more time. If you need these things, you have already made a terrible mistake.
Cheese with charcoal? Hard pass.
The Marmite’s looking pretty good right now.
Always respect the media.
“BBC Verify.”
Thanks for that, barkeep. Top tune!
It’s a good exploration of a very good piece of music. And he’s so enthused.
His deep dive into the scores from the Lord of the Rings trilogy is also quite good. Some of it is a little technical, but again, his enthusiasm carries things along.
Admit it, you’ve got #11 in the bedroom.
The stretchy-mirror ceiling and the striped carpeting might be a bit much. Looks like a recipe for a migraine.
Gentlemen, you had my curiosity… but now you have my attention.
Once upon a time, back in 1979, I first visited the UK and photographed this wholesome British lass feeding the famed pigeons in Trafalgar Square, which was a common occurrence back then.
Eventually, they removed the pigeons.
Now, they’re removing the Brits.
I don’t think you’re supposed to notice that it was different in the not-too-distant past.
“Related”
It’s really a bit early for cognitive dissonance.
Sabotaging your body in utterly perverse ways, on account of mental illness, has painful and disabling consequences.
Well, you can imagine my surprise.
Best I can find so far.
Or a seizure.
Among their shared traits, progressives and Muhammedans are determined to eliminate the past.
Thanks for looking, but t’aint the version I’m thinking of. And there are so many to sift through. The arrangement and instrumentation I recall are pretty much the same as the original, but with an extended flute section.
[ Curses younger self for assuming that playlists are eternal. ]
Just don’t get arrested.
Well why didn’t you say so in the first place, our bad for arresting you.
Learned that from a commercial with Fred MacMurray back in the 70’s. There’s also a cool trick for knowing what day of the week a date falls on and a somewhat easy way to convert from communist to freedom degrees.
I dunno…I kinda like this Maudsley character. Seems he was doing the Lord’s work. He should stand for parliament, or however y’all say it. You’ve done worse.
I remember a story several years ago about the introduction of rest stops to either Ireland or the UK. I think it was Ireland. It was reported like this was a big, new idea there. While I have driven the major highways of both countries, additionally Italy and the smaller Central European/ex-Iron curtain countries, I don’t recall many rest stops, overlooks, etc. but we were mostly stopping in small towns for lunch.
Perhaps the cultural enrichment could be toned down a notch?
Says Mr Burkett.
Having trouble finding David’s establishment.
Well, one flute anyways…
Prolly not the one, but it’s a fun search making my day better, so there is that.
I see Spain is being rendered vibrant and diverse.
Residents already reporting assaults, arson, break-in attempts, and other liveliness.
And do note the young woman waving encouragement to her new, overwhelmingly male neighbours.
If anyone actually finds the version I’m banging on about, I’ll give them…
[ Rummages under bar. ]
This used inhaler of unknown origin.
Who is John Galt? Government edition.
[ Devises party game based on guessing contents of inhaler. ]
One puff only. Five seconds to answer.
