Free-For-All Pronouns Or Else

A Cunning Ruse

April 8, 2025 67 Comments

And in somewhat surreal crime news:

A trans-identified male sex offender who attempted to enrol at a local high school in Oregon… was arrested… after an officer at South Albany High School reported him for pretending to be a 15-year-old girl in order to register as a student.

Despite his efforts to feign girlishness and his use of the name Madison, Mr Alec Ray Craig, aged 27, found himself in the care of the Albany Police Department and Linn County Court, where fabulist pronouns are scrupulously observed by all parties:

“She [sic], as a registered sex offender, is trying to pretend that she [sic] is a juvenile… to become… involved with other juveniles in the high school system,” said prosecutor Coleen Cerda.

Because in matters of this kind, what you need is more confusion. Further departure from reality.

However, Craig’s defence counsel argued… that community service would be sufficient. “I don’t know that jail really serves the purpose that perhaps we want,” defence attorney Erik Moeller countered. “And compensatory service, or community service, would better serve the community.”

At which point, readers may wonder whether jail might serve the not insignificant purpose of keeping a deranged paedophile away from his prey.

Craig was ultimately sentenced to 20 days in jail, two years’ probation, and was ordered to stay at least 500 feet away from schools.

And local parents will doubtless sleep soundly. What with Mr Craig’s track record of observing boundaries. As when, in 2023, following his abuse of a minor, Mr Craig was given similar instructions, months before his attempt to once again mingle with schoolchildren.

And then of course there’s the assumption that one can rely on the promise of a 27-year-old man who is convinced he’ll be perceived as an adolescent girl.

Mr Craig, a participant in online fetish communities, refers to himself as a “femboi,” a “furry,” and a “therian,” the latter term denoting his supposedly non-human status:

On social media…. Craig posted a “trans-feline Pride” flag to his account, indicating that he identifies as a cat.

Ah, that would explain it. It all makes sense now.

Multiple local news outlets reported on Craig’s case while referring to the child sexual abuser as simply a “woman.”

Lest anyone get the, er, wrong idea.

One might note the selectivity of the police, court and media in terms of which pretences are to be indulged with great diligence. Such that claiming to be a child, when you’re actually 27, to thereby gain sexual access to minors, is referred to as “pretending,” while claiming to be female, all physical reality to the contrary, is not.

Update, via the comments:

Regarding the curious leniency of the court, Dicentra adds,

At first, I wonder whether the judges are really so stupid that they can’t recognise a demonstrated PREDATOR, and then I have to concede that they do, but they don’t think such predation is really a problem.

That would at least explain why the go-to solution is the thing tried last time and which clearly didn’t work.

In turn, commenter Aitch cites this,

in 2023, following his abuse of a minor, Mr Craig was given similar instructions, months before his attempt to once again mingle with schoolchildren.

Adding,

Once they’ve broken that condition it should never be a sentencing option again.

While Rafi quotes the linked article,

When announcing Craig’s arrest online, law enforcement turned off comments in response to what they regarded as “hate speech.” Many replies expressed frustration that the authorities had not included a photo of the sex offender… Details regarding his prior conviction were also noticeably absent.

And offers a summary:

No mugshot. No comments allowed. Move along.

And so, when local parents discover that a determined paedophile has once again been stalking children, and even trying to enrol in schools – supposedly as a girl, despite him being a 27-year-old man with facial hair – then none of those concerned parents must be allowed to know what the man in question looks like, or to know about his previous crimes – even though he’ll be loose again within days – and they must not be allowed to pass comment on his somewhat bizarre appearance.

Because that would be hateful, it seems. The very stuff of wickedness.

What a strange place we’ve arrived at.

For newcomers, some items from the archives:

But Paying Attention Is Hard.

Mathematics is “saturated in whiteness.” Selfish inadequates hardest hit.

Throughout the paper in question, the term “brilliance” is deployed no fewer than seventeen times, as if it were some obviously inherent, pre-existing attribute – of students who can’t be arsed to study, who don’t pay attention in class, who undermine the efforts of others, and whose grades, as a result, leave much to be desired.

Even more frequent is use of the term “whiteness,” an alleged phenomenon on which the paper is premised. Though readers in search of some clear and convincing definition, or some compelling evidence of its existence, may find their hopes dashed. We are, however, assured that “whiteness” is something that gets in the way of black students “maintaining their Blackness.”

Readers will note how any feelings of incompetence and not being welcome are immediately blamed on external causes, on some ectoplasmic “whiteness,” that Befouler Of All Things. As if such feelings had nothing whatsoever to do with the choices and behaviour, and the personal shortcomings, of the students themselves.

Instead, Dr Jasien and her colleagues expect the teaching of mathematics to be driven by the goal of “healing… intellectual trauma,” by paying “attention to the minds and bodies of students.” The students being, it seems, much less obliged to pay attention to anything beyond themselves.

And so we’re told that “exclamations” and “cacophony” are “to be both expected and valued.” Because when you picture a maths classroom and people getting to grips with differential equations or vector calculus, the first thing that springs to mind is the word cacophony.

Only Suckers Pay Their Way.

On the fare-dodging hipsters of San Francisco.

It’s worth noting that the replies to Ms Malan’s fare-dodging dramas are almost entirely sympathetic. Her admirers applaud her recreational mooching, a measure of hipness, and offer tips on doing the same. “Best way to live,” says one. “God, I love this city,” adds a likeminded bint. “It’s a simple and beautiful life,” says another. Albeit a life based on exploiting, and sneering at, those more honest. The ones being left to pick up the tab…

As one might imagine, this modish, habitual freeloading – now estimated at 20% of users, possibly higher – has had certain consequences, including the alienation of many paying customers. Say, those not impressed by orange-vested climate activists who repeatedly screw the law-abiding, and the taxpayer, while applauding themselves for their belief that “Muni should be free.”

Left unchallenged or actively reinforced, the disregard for paying bills may of course spill into other areas of life, and losses from municipal parking garages are also mentioned as a “concern.” The fiscal state of the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency is described by insiders as “incredibly dire,” with a deficit projected to rise from a mere $15 million to a rather more impressive $322 million.

The Bollocks Is Bolted On.

Come, marvel at the world of politically radical tableware.

Ms Burgher approvingly cites Ms Robin DiAngelo, a fellow peddler of neurosis, the L Ron Hubbard of wokeness, and whose devotees, as we’ve seen, are often wildly unhinged and nakedly malevolent. Which probably tells us much of what we need to know about Ms Burgher and her racial affectations. The mindset she wishes to inflict on others. And by extension, those who succumb.

And so, Ms Burgher makes her unattractive tat, and calls it art, and treads on ceramic eggshells, and calls it performance art, while listing the hallucinatory evils of having pale skin. And while telling those sufficiently credulous that “whiteness is oppression,” the source of all that is wrong, a basis for eternal shame, and that white people should “not behave white.”

You see, we will purge the world of bigotry by embracing wholesale the mental habits of the bigot.

For those craving more, The Year Reheated is a pretty good place to start.
