Anna Slatz on when an 80-year-old lady encounters the pointy end of transgender ideology:
When [Julie] Jaman asked… why no signs had been posted informing women that males could potentially be in the locker rooms, she says she was told: “‘We post pride signs, and we assume that lets women know what to expect.’”
What is expected, it seems, is that women who are not entirely comfortable with dysmorphic men using ladies’ changing rooms and showers, and watching small girls undress, should simply pretend that it isn’t happening. As is the custom, a kind of farce ensues, including accusations of “hatred,” bigotry, and being “unscientific.”
Heather Mac Donald on the woke capture, and corruption, of medicine:
Medical schools and medical societies are discarding traditional standards of merit in order to alter the demographic characteristics of their profession… Black students are not admitted into competitive residencies at the same rate as whites because their average [second year ‘Step One’] test scores are a standard deviation below those of whites. Step One has already been modified to try to shrink that gap; it now includes nonscience components such as “communication and interpersonal skills.” But the standard deviation in scores has persisted. In the world of antiracism, that persistence means only one thing: the test is to blame. It is Step One that, in the language of antiracism, “disadvantages” underrepresented minorities, not any lesser degree of medical knowledge…
Medical schools use wildly different standards for admitting black and white applicants. From 2013 to 2016, only 8 percent of white college seniors with below-average undergraduate GPAs and below-average MCAT scores were offered a seat in medical school; less than 6 percent of Asian college seniors with those qualifications were offered a seat… Medical schools regarded those below-average scores as all but disqualifying—except when presented by blacks and Hispanics. Over 56 percent of black college seniors with below-average undergraduate GPAs and below-average MCATs, and 31 percent of Hispanic students with those scores, were admitted, making a black student in that range more than seven times as likely as a similarly situated white college senior to be admitted to medical school, and more than nine times as likely to be admitted as a similarly situated Asian senior.
In light of which, claims of being “marginalised” and “excluded” seem somewhat doubtful. See also, the world of woke dentistry, and the third item here, in which would-be maths teachers must be spared any attempt to fathom their competence in mathematics.
And in rampant phallus news, The College Fix reports on an artistic scandal at Imperial College London:
While [Antony] Gormley, “one of Britain’s leading sculptors,” said the piece is intended to evoke an image of a person “balancing on the balls of the feet while squatting on its haunches,” the [student] Union claimed the sculpture looks like “a person baring their erect penis.” It added the piece will tarnish “the image and reputation of the college.” The Union also said the phallic interpretation was “exclusionary” as women (or those who identify as such) comprise only 42 percent of Imperial College’s student body.
Those with nerves of steel can behold said sculpture here.
Feel free to share your own links and snippets, on any subject, in the comments.
the [student] Union claimed the sculpture looks like “a person baring their erect penis.”
The word is ‘man’.
If a sculpture is intended to ‘evoke an image’ rather than actually portraying an image in 3D, then I don’t really class it as a sculpture. I guess that makes me some sort of Philistine…
It added the piece will tarnish “the image and reputation of the college.”
I think “the image and reputation of the college” is damaged far more by the cretinry espoused by the students who believe things like the above, than the artwork in question – a mediocre piece which resembles an industrial accident in a steel beam factory.

Yes, one might more credibly object on grounds that the sculpture appears to lack any significant aesthetic qualities.
As an old person myself I think old people should always carry a walking stick or umbrella whether they need one or not. Very useful for accidentally cracking perverts in the lady nuts. “Oh, I’m sorry love, was that your bollocks?”
Right, heading out into the Peak District for an hour or two. Play nicely. Use coasters.
OK Mice, you know the score…
My view is that anyone who has not been surgically topped and tailed is, quite simply, a transvestite (or in the old music-hall style, “female impersonator”) and should be so-regarded and changing room/toilet doors labelled XY or XX only ( or biological males/females only).
The surgically-modified present more of a problem to which the answer may be exclusive facilities marked “Neither/Nor”.
the sculpture looks like “a person baring their erect penis.”
If the “person” is Optimus Prime.
…a mediocre piece which resembles an industrial accident in a steel beam factory…
That, or a two year old with a Lego set.
TBF, it doesn’t look like someone on his* haunches, however, how utterly stupid and/or deranged does one have to be to think something protruding at knee level is a johnson?
*(“his” because there are no breasts, although it could be a “transman” in which case he could be proudly showing off his ersatz wang attached in an anatomically unlikely place, in which case the “sculpture should be celebrated)
Play nicely. Use coasters.

That, or a two year old with a Lego set.
Much of the contemporary art favored by the “intellectual classes” fits that general description, which is grounds for defunding and dethroning said intellectuals–and most of the ruling class.
Yes, one might more credibly object on grounds that the sculpture appears to lack any significant aesthetic qualities.
To be fair, one can say the same of the campus of Imperial College Lond0n itself. Barring some of the older, pre-WW2 buildings which the institution hasn’t treated very well, it’s a deeply ugly place. So ironically, that sculpture would fit right in.
I think I found one of those new MCAT students.
I used an online writing bot to construct the following:
“By contesting colonialist narratives that are sustained by the suppression of voices with the appropriate cultural background, it is possible to examine the origins of heteronormative attitudes among non-indigenous peoples.
Gender is determined at conception, according to traditional Western science. Deconstructing this mythos promises to unlock indigenous ways of being in the world, which erases the illusory construct of determination by so-called biological factors. It is also possible to analyze queer thought patterns among indigenous peoples who have not been colonized by traditional Western cultures. ”
Tenure-track Ivy League post, here I come.
Peak District: peak of what?
“You will not find any information on the internet about my experience other than what I’ve written on my Patreon site…”, oddly enough, speaking of medical things that didn’t happen.
Much of the contemporary art favored by the “intellectual classes” fits that general description,
As the great unwashed are actually allowed to go into art museums, one will find the ‘contemporary art’ halls and exhibits close to empty. We’re all over in the sections with the Dutch masters and French impressionists. Or even … :::gasp::: enjoying classical sculpture.
Tenure-track Ivy League post, here I come.
If that “sculpture” is actually installed, I want the spray paint and marker concession next to it. Gonna take in the big bucks, I tell you!
(What’s uk-speak for “big bucks”?)
What’s uk-speak for “big bucks”?
Big Bucks
We’re all over in the sections with the Dutch masters and French impressionists.
Next time I go downtown, I will try to count the visitors in the contemporary vs traditional galleries.
The model of the sculpture shows that the artist (?) is just trolling the rest of us. (Besides, it has a hump: it looks like an aroused Lego Quasimodo.)
she was told: “‘We post pride signs, and we assume that lets women know what to expect.’”
I’m a big old lezza and I didn’t sign up for that.
I’m a big old lezza and I didn’t sign up for that.
I doubt you’re alone in those sentiments. Another account of the incident can be found here. What caught my eye, among other things, was the line:
Which, as we’ve seen, is by no means an uncommon phenomenon.
What is becoming clear in the attacks on her, as Jaman wrote to us in an email, “It seems everything is about them. No one else’s needs matter.”
That reminds me of something I’ve been pondering: A number of “smart” people have simultaneously told me:
(1) The “trans” activists demanding access to women’s showers and bathrooms are a tiny atypical minority. The vast majority of “trans” people are quiet folks who don’t want to make waves and just want to live their lives unobtrusively.
(2) We should not object to “trans” men in women’s bathrooms because such “extreme” privacy concerns are not found everywhere in the world and therefore we can change to be more “tolerant”.
This has led me to wonder about the true motives of those “smart” people: Are they merely fools following the latest ideological trend? Are they secret pervs? Are they crypto-leftists like the people I knew in the 70’s and 80’s who pretended to be liberal or moderate but who always found ways to deny or minimize or excuse the tyranny and horrors in communist regimes? And come to think of it, a lot of leftist rhetoric involves a large does of “You’re delusional for thinking it’s happening and it’s good that it’s happening to you.”
“It seems everything is about them. No one else’s needs matter.”
Looks like the LGB had better get with the program or else.
“You’re delusional for thinking it’s happening and it’s good that it’s happening to you.”
It goes along with the typical “No true Scotsman” arguments I encounter with the “trans women ARE women” TRAs.
Assertion: a woman is anyone who identifies as a woman
Me: Sexes aren’t fungible.
A: Sex has nothing to do with gender.
Me: And yet, it is about SEX when trans-id’d males end up in womens/girls spaces. Here are examples … [many links provided]
A: that rarely happens and real trans women don’t behave that way.
Me: Ok, give me an objective test or standard so we can separate out the “sincere” trans from the predators
A: F**k off, terf.
“It seems everything is about them. No one else’s needs matter.”
Again…from late 1970’s/1980’s children’s TV shows:
There were people who tried to point out to adults and such that this was a really, really stupid thing to be telling small, impressionable children. But those people were told to shut up.
people I knew in the 70’s and 80’s who pretended to be liberal or moderate but who always found ways to deny or minimize or excuse the tyranny and horrors in communist regimes
That one. They’re pretty much the same people.
That one. They’re pretty much the same people.
Indeed. As a matter of fact, one of those supposedly conservative-libertarian “trans” apologists has an amazing ability to find value in contemporary visions of the glorious communist future as well as to find reasons to not condemn and turn away from communists who actively work on behalf of Antifa rioters–not just the Antifa loudmouths but the actual rioters. And a number of his friends seem to agree with him.
But those people were told to shut up.
Our society is far too tolerant of pernicious fools.
That one. They’re pretty much the same people.
Via Prager U
Religion tells children they are imperfect and must work on themselves.
Secularism tells children they are perfect and should work on everyone else.
That’s the sort of observation that explains white-hot liberal hatred of Dennis Prager.
Re ‘the people I knew in the 70’s and 80’s who pretended to be liberal or moderate,’ spot on, pst314. Complete dishonesty within that in-group is a clearly established trait. As an aside, and not as schadenfreude, but the all about me mentality that is endemic in the progressive and trans activist culture is also endemic in a large subset of feminist ideology. The ‘sad’ fact is, women are no longer the top oppressed folks in the progressive schema, the leftists have fabricated new victim classes.
Related to something that came up in the previous cycle of comments:

This is going to continue until there are brutal, violent consequences for this kind of behaviour. We’ve passed the point where even legal consequences are a deterrent. When every single one of these protestors gets kettled, trampled by horses, charged, summarily convicted and imprisoned for five years then maybe their compatriots will think twice.
@pst314:
You paraphrased Rod Dreher’s Law of Merited Impossibility! “That will never happen, and when it does, you bigots will deserve it.”
I am of the mind now that the only thing that will work against the MtF trannies is society-wide shunning of spaces where they are allowed. These men–the autogynephiles–are aggressive bullies who secretly (or not-so-secretly) loathe women. They hate women for being what they can never be–and their sexual gratification depends on society perceiving them and treating them as women. And men in pursuit of sexual gratification will do almost anything (monkeypox, anyone?).
An acquaintance of mine was married to a man (ex-cop) who decided he was female. He went so far as to have an orchiectomy. Suddenly, with the loss of all that testosterone (and probably libido), he decided he was a man again. Funny how that works.
Anyway–the shunning. When everyone else abandons the spaces these a-holes claim, leaving them alone, then we will win. Sadly, most women lack the courage to sacrifice their own short-term interests in pursuit of this more important goal. See, for instance, the swimmers who got in the pool with the Thomas man. If every female had refused to compete with him, what would have happened?
The real problem with that sculpture is that it is just hideous. How did we get from Michelangelo’s David to that?
“It’s day 4 of law school…”, and this gal has been skipping classes, apparently, though I have a suggestion for where she should go next.
If that sculpture has an erect penis, then the sculptor has no sense of scale. Plus the people complaining have never actually seen a live erect penis.
You paraphrased Rod Dreher’s Law of Merited Impossibility
I haven’t read as much Rod Dreher as I should. Perhaps this will nudge me to do so soon.
If every female had refused to compete with him, what would have happened?
Very good point. That would have been very effective propaganda. Shunning is deserved. Also disrespectful invitations to FOAD and humiliating mockery. But don’t forget the non-trans supporters of these…persons.
The real problem with that sculpture is that it is just hideous. How did we get from Michelangelo’s David to that?
Insufficient mockery and excessive tolerance.
If every female had refused to compete with him, what would have happened?
They’re in good company.
We didn’t love freedom enough.
That describes a lot of my libertarian friends. Or they love holding fashionable opinions more than they love freedom.
We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.
That does indeed apply to many “smart” Americans. And they have less excuse than Solzhenitsyn’s friends, because they have had many decades to watch what the Left did here as it acquired power–and how it acquired that power.
If every female had refused to compete with him, what would have happened?
They’d have been censured by whatever their version of the NCAA is, kicked off the team for refusing to compete and subsequently lost their athletic scholarships.
Which I’m okay with. The only reason women’s sports exists at all at the collegiate level is massive Title IX lawsuits that force colleges to redirect funding from sports that bring in money to sports that don’t. As I said, karma’s a bitch.
“It’s day 4 of law school…”
The young lady in question apparently finds it “hard… to figure out why people keep seeing me as a female.” The short answer is that those people probably aren’t dysmorphic, and their perceptions aren’t wildly distorted. And consequently, continual pretending is a bit of a chore, and an insult, and an unfair thing to demand.
I say apparently because the whole thing seems disingenuous, as these things so often are. I suspect our bearer of umbrage knows full well why those around her see her as a woman.
Also, that hair.
I’m discovering that Twitter’s character limit is quite irritating.

I’ll go with “claiming to be a man but putting less effort into looking or acting like one than some of the Weimar lesbians*.

The only reason women’s sports exists at all at the collegiate level is massive Title IX lawsuits
That’s an exaggeration: Collegiate women’s sports existed before Title IX. The lawsuits merely led to huge increases in funding.
They’d have been censured by whatever their version of the NCAA is, kicked off the team for refusing to compete and subsequently lost their athletic scholarships.
Likely. But the publicity would have been embarrassing to the school and NCAA. And then, if women joined them in protesting, the embarrassment would have increased. Shaming these bullies and commissars can be effective.
I’ll go with “claiming to be a man but putting less effort into looking or acting like one than some of the Weimar lesbians*.
Dressing like a man seems to be the old lesbian convention, which began to change in the 1970’s, and the old style lesbians who always wore stereotypical working man’s clothing tended to be very hostile towards young “lipstick” lesbians who liked skirts and long hair and perfume and jewelry. The anti-freedom tendencies of those old lesbians was…instructive (as was their tendency to emulate various male behaviors somewhat like transvestites emulate female behavior.)
#GasBag
That struck a random association: “Flaming Nazi gasbag”. Long before I really knew who Rush Limbaugh was, I would hear my liberal friends tell this joke: “Whats the difference between Rush Limbaugh and the Hindenburg? One is a flaming Nazi gasbag while the other is just a dirigible.” When, much later, I actually heard him and read some of his columns, I discovered that he was nothing like what my liberal friends had said.

Med school: people will die. You will go to the doc and they won’t be able to diagnose you. Not good if you have cancer. There are already too many mediocre docs. The new woke medicine also wants to blame non-compliance of POC patients on racism. Covid vaccines were free, available everywhere, and every single human knew they were available, yet blacks had (have) a low rate of getting shots. How is this racism? Medicaid (US) covers doctors so why not go? Yet glaucoma blinds more blacks. Same with airline pilots. Being able to handle an emergency 80% of the time is not ok. The Left has decided that blacks cannot be educated so they are going to destroy education, in spite of the success of private, catholic, and charter schools with these same kids.
80 yr old: what ever happened to consent?
On the subject of that sculpture:
Much better and more intriguing work is done on Minecraft every day. Every minute, really.
Med school: people will die. You will go to the doc and they won’t be able to diagnose you. Not good if you have cancer. There are already too many mediocre docs.
What’s more, some of those black “affirmative action” doctors and nurses will intentionally give you inferior care because you are white…or Asian…or Jewish…
And ever-more-aggressive DEI programs will ensure that there will never be a shortage of angry black racists.
Distracted wide receiver coach resigns to avoid causing distraction to distracted wide receivers.

Woke educators are getting rid of SATS, AP classes, honor courses, grades and even the concept of merit is going out the window cuz “social justice”. There is open discrimination against white and Asian students and that will continue because, gosh darn it, those families are have married, involved parents at higher percentages than the demographic they’ve already destroyed in the black community.
They are alarmed that more and more people are home schooling and what Arizona has done to start attaching student $$ actually to the student is causing panic and they will fight back. Why would they care about ruining professions like medicine or bridge building? They have an ideology to impose and doing it through children is the best way because when you cripple an adult, they remember when they weren’t crippled. A child will grow accepting that crippled is the norm.
I say apparently because the whole thing seems disingenuous, as these things so often are. I suspect our bearer of umbrage knows full well why those around her see her as a woman.
That.
That.
Well, assuming the young woman isn’t in effect hallucinating, it does seem quite likely that her behaviour is a kind of obnoxious, narcissistic shit test. By which I mean, it’s practically a dare to say the obvious. At which point, she can presumably take her psychodrama to the next level.
Farnsworth: thanks for Dalrymple. He has a rare insight into what makes oppressors tick.
Art museums. The chicago museum of art is attached to an art school, so it is full of hipsters on dates, where the guy is trying to impress her with his hipness by looking at the crap modern art. You need to subtract those from any survey. Note that art went down this road of “no standards” almost 100 years ago.
80 yr old in locker rooms: defenders of trans always point to bathrooms with stalls and pretend locker rooms with showers don’t exist. Even in those cases, women adjust their private clothing and even change clothes. Pointing to “other cultures” is precious. We are not “other cultures”.
Art museums. The chicago museum of art is attached to an art school…
Nit-pick for tourists and internet searchers: It’s the Art Institute of Chicago and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
More from the Annals of Liberal Idiocy: A lot of my former liberal friends either openly supported the IRA terrorists or found ways to excuse and “understand” the terrorism.

80 yr old: what ever happened to consent?
Because “Trans” is higher in the Leftcult hierarchy than mere “ciswomen”. Even Lesbians and gays no longer “count” if they refuse the advances of ‘trans’.
To go back to Prions of Idiocy cited above
“How did we get from Michelangelo’s David to that?” it is simple. Modern artists are lazy. They can’t compete with the great art of the past, so they yap about their “art” instead of working on it.
No indications at all that this trans activist is malevolently insane. /sarcasm
“How did we get from Michelangelo’s David to that?” it is simple. Modern artists are lazy. They can’t compete with the great art of the past, so they yap about their “art” instead of working on it.
At some point art critics and educators and intellectuals began to prize “originality” over quality, and “transgression” over aesthetics–not to mention how they devalued beauty.
“benefit of infanticide?” sorry darleen, we are already there. The dems have been pushing an absolute right to abortion right up to delivery (ie as an exercise in power) including trying to pass a bill in Congress. You are supposed to not notice what this absolute right entails.
I can’t help but think there may be a hidden message here.

This assumes I give any thought to the image and reputation of Imperial College. Alas, I don’t. In fact, from oop north here I had no idea it even existed. So, to help them out down there in Lunnon, I hereby give them full permission for them all to do whatever they want. Go for it, lads and lasses*

“As the great unwashed are actually allowed to go into art museums, one will find the ‘contemporary art’ halls and exhibits close to empty.”
Some recent observations:
Visited a community art show in Lititz, Pa. Said community is several hundred years ago and avoided the “urban redevelopment” boom in the ’60s and ’70s that destroyed so many communities. It is a prosperous town that can support a stores that sell olive oil, vegan sweets, and weighted blankets. There’s even a British pub decorated with memorabilia such as Arsenal scarves, those leather and metal badges horses wear, old school photographs, and served excellent sausage rolls in puff pastry and wild mushrooms on toast (but no Watney’s Red Barrel, alas).
The art show (my point here) consisted solely of attractive art. Beautiful art. Art that people would be proud to buy and put up on their walls. The quality level was very high, but absolutely nothing that wealthy people or taxpayer-funded institutions buy.
Second thought: My wife and I sell our books at art shows, and recently we visited two.
The first was in a small town that had a university adjacent to it. Some working class, some not. We saw a number of men who signaled that their sexuality was flexible.
The second town, of equally small size but was far more working class. No trans people at all.
Third observation: My wife and I are going out a lot more. We can’t afford long trips, so we’ve decided on day trips.
What impresses me most about these trips (one to a major amusement park, the second to the working class town mentioned above, and the third to a diner in Lancaster Co., Pa. (also Amish country), is just how racially mixed these places are. Black people, white people, hispanic people, Asian people, plus people who were obviously not caucasian but it wouldn’t do to speculate further.
There were also plenty of interracial couples, many with their kids. And nobody making any big deal out of it. We’re all passing through, getting what we want (breakfast, shopping, you know, life).
And yet I know, that if Hollywood wanted to film a scene in that diner, they’d move out the racially diverse people, bring in a bunch of fat rednecks, and show us what they think of an America they’d never bothered to visit.
(Which was one reason why we stopped watching the Simon Pegg movie “Paul,” when it was clear he thought the American Southwest was filled with racist rednecks of the caucasian persuasion. And while I love his work, his recent comments about Star Trek shows he needs to beam down from Clown World and talk to fans.)
That’s an exaggeration
I suppose I should have been more nuanced; the only reason competitive collegiate women’s sports with leagues and scholarships – that is, what we think of generally as “collegiate sports” – exist at all is Title IX lawsuits. Bear in mind I believe all collegiate sports need to be excised from academe and instituted as private athletic clubs the way football is in the UK and Europe. Part of the reason I don’t care about the female swimmers is their concerns are based on losing their athletic scholarships if they protest. Having seen the extent to which universities cater to athletes at the expense of their education because the priorities are skewed by outside factors, the best thing that could happen to these swimmers is the loss of their scholarships. They were sucking up limited academic seats, scholarship funds and teaching resources long before Will Thomas came along. A realignment of their priorities is in order. Unlike college football, baseball or basketball players, there is no career for any of them after they leave university; the degenerate education they received in order to keep them on the academic rolls and the university out of court will not serve them.
her behaviour is a kind of obnoxious, narcissistic shit test
Woke activism is just high school mean girls, part MCMLXVII
Women compete via social cutting and shaming. That has no power if you don’t care what they think.
What.the.actual.f**k.
“That has no power if you don’t care what they think.” Of course girls care but if you don’t it is powerful. People do try to tease me or even insult me but I either have a clever retort or ignore it. It really tamps down the teasing/insults. I seriously don’t care. I know my own self and what I have accomplished in my life, so whatevs, as they say.
I can’t help but think there may be a hidden message here.
Not a hoax. Details can be found here and here.
Video: people are figuring it out even without the video. People going downtown for entertainment are way down. People need to know the type of criminal to watch out for. They would rather you die than know this. As they say in England: better dead than rude. By the way, if it is true it isn’t racism or bias.
‘There are already too many mediocre docs.’ It appears the joke about what the people who graduate at the bottom of the class in med school are called is becoming more apropos. Doctors were already too often known for just making wild guesses and resting on their laurels -not in all cases, but I will guess that each person here can relate at least one anecdote.
The cubist statue brouhaha. Public art is how the folks who assume themselves better than the hoipolloi show it. The students’ reaction, and the rejection of the artist’s very clear statement on the piece in favor of the erect penis narrative is very typical of academe, and progressive in-group thinking in general. A rejection of statements of intent, of context, of facts, in favor of interpretation that fit with the agendas and narratives with which they are so enamored. In particular, the habit of deciding that one knows the mindset, the intent of another., often disregarding any and all evidence that would disprove the risible opinions they assert. There have been other instances of this sort of behavior in history, and they were not positive in terms of human rights.
people are figuring it out even without the video. People going downtown for entertainment are way down.
And not just downtown: Many suburban areas affected, too. I can list a number of suburbs around the city I was born in which were once very nice places to live and work and shop, and which now should be avoided. In some cases it’s due to a large influx of “diverse” residents. In other cases it’s mostly a problem of “diverse” kids coming to the shopping malls. One of those malls is now closed due to that influx and the resulting flight of the civilized people. Another is still operating but has had a few shootings in the last decade.
My willingness to go downtown or go to any venue likely to be affected by uncivilized youths started to decline in the 1980’s.
By the way, if it is true it isn’t racism or bias.
I’ve dealt with liberals who strongly disagree.

If you’ve ever seen the various fertility idols used by preliterate tribes, up to and including the effigies of certain gods in the Mesopotamian Basin as late as the Bronze Age collapse – that thing is a dong. It is obviously a dong.
“Perpetuating false stereotypes” they presume that if you make any generalization, that you are wrong. But a 20 yr old black male with gang symbols is statistically likely to be dangerous and a person of any race in a suit and tie to not be dangerous. Just probabilities here. I’ve been assaulted, threatened (2x) and chased and all 4 incidents were young black men. It is not necessary for ALL young black men to be dangerous for your stereotype to keep you from harm.
More “false stereotypes”: A blogger just linked to reports of “fights” at the Wisconsin State Fair. The only video I found showed that *all* the miscreants were “diverse”. Just like in previous years, which have at times included mob assaults on random white people.

I’m so old, I remember when liberals hated the FBI for abusing its power.
Hell, I’m so old I remember when Amnesty International carried water for Russia and liberals loved them for it. But then I also remember back before the US of A was a banana republic.
a banana republic
Technically a banana republic is one where the government is corruptly controlled by a foreign corporation. What we have here is more akin to a paramilitary consolidation of power. Still Latin American though.
The football, baseball, and basketball players do not need a worthless university degree to do whatever they want to do afterwards. They could have been culled out at the high school level or have gone into the minor leagues to be culled out there.
The football crap at the collegiate level has been going on for damned near 100 years. Hell’s bells, I was a room mate for one of USMAs backup quarterbacks back in the day. His spare time was training for football, not studying anything West Point had to offer in the academic sphere (stop laughing over there).
Does the above mean that absolute no football, baseball, or basketball players learned anything from their college years? I wouldn’t claim that, but I’d bet otherwise.
