I applaud your ironic use of the ‘travel’ tag.
Well, very little happens, and what does happen takes an incredibly long time, and yet it’s oddly compelling.
Yes this is a shambolic effort but it has to be said that now days, due to their high hip lines and thick pillars, a lot of modern cars are quite hard to see out of, especially behind. Often you either need to be good on the mirrors or have a camera to know what is going on. Also we don’t know the age of this person. I have a grandmother who doesn’t swivel, see or hear like she used too, and reversing sometimes turns into a bit of a drama. However, a few bumps here and there are a small price to pay for the independence the car provides.
Like watching a child repeatedly trying to smash the square peg into the round hole.
Rob, the driver repeatedly goes back without turning the steering wheel in the opposite direction from the intended target. That is a fundamental misunderstanding of how to drive a car. The reason the car ends up 180 degrees from its intended direction appears to be the initial turn in the wrong direction while reversing.
