Friday Ephemera
Jamiroquai redubbed. // Rats with teddy bears. // I knew someone would build one eventually. // Hamster butts. // Ugly Renaissance babies. // Bluetooth enabled retro radio. // Bird feeder of note. // Beer meets hot skillet. // The cheese slicer you’ve always wanted. // Silence your windows. // Go supersonic, sideways. // Pot-bellied seahorses. // Teeny tiny quadcopter. // Terrariums. // The theremin you’ve always wanted. // And via MeFi, cooking gone awry, from unhappy fajitas and ectoplasm borscht to delicious ham water.
The theremin you’ve always wanted.
Cat Toy!!!!!!!!!!
Who knew hamsters had such great asses ?
Lady, you’re doing it in the wrong order
From the Chicago, IL area:
The accompanying photo is, well, interesting.

Boiled egg, cucumber and raw carrot? Those lucky vegetarians.
Those lucky vegetarians.
Should the boiled-egg-raw-carrot combo lose its appeal, and eventually it might, there’s always this plate of ectoplasmic loveliness. Who knew toast was so hard to get right?
Bad food: The beaten-up looking fish was bad for my digestion, but I particularly like the look of the brocolli/cheese/something/baked beans/rhubarb/somethingelse/crumpet/humous/all-dripping-off-the-plate combo.
Actually I’m lying. The descriptions are good though

New vistas of pleasure.
The rhubarb is a touch of genius.
The rhubarb is a touch of genius.
And it is at least possible to identify, or guess at, the components of the meal, intriguing as they are. Which isn’t always the case.

Great piles of barely recognisable foodstuffs … made me think of this for some reason.
Carlos Ezquerra – never did quite work out why he insisted on those chunky cut-along-the-dotted-line blocks round his figures.
David,
I’m guessing that you and your regulars have seen this before, but it warrants re-visiting, if only to make sure we stay awake.

I doubt the tiny quadcopter would survive running the gauntlet of my two Siamese sisters…
Yet more thorns littering the rocky road to righteousness.
Sadly, I spent ages looking for that rhubarb. Aren’t those crab sticks?

A favorite observation is that the biggest problem with an absolutely strictly vegan or vegetarian diet is that once you run out of them you’re going to have to go back to other forms of meat . . . .
