It would be, um, interesting. I actually saw Silence of the Lambs again not too long ago. It stands up well, I think. The scene in the darkened basement when Clarice optimistically shouts “You’re safe” – all evidence to the contrary – is excellent.
Er, sorry to be the wet blanket but he does need to be staring at her unnervingly as he unravels Starling’s life for her. This chap’s eyes wander about all over the place.
Splendid film, I thought Red Dragon (sort of a prequel) might have been just a touch better.

I haven’t seen that in years, though I remember it as being better than films by Brett Ratner usually are.
It is like early computer animation (like the baby in Pixar’s Tin Toy below) an impressive and interesting application of technology but also crude, terrible, unrealistic, and surprisingly creepy.
Although they do get extra credit for doing it to a movie where a character wears people’s skin.
