Actually, her remark is very very restrained for SF state. Notably, nothing about Palestine, which I had come to believe was a mere interjection, like “uhm”, and in effect, mandatory for both faculty and students. Nothing new, they’ve been like that for several decades at least.

Random font changes to page header and sidebar headers. It must be my browser then – something must have gone wrong in page loading. The post and content fonts are the same as they’ve always been.
Thompson,blog at top and the links there are now small caps in times new roman looks like, and search, recent comments and others sidebar item headers now also in small caps but different look – like arial or something.
I tried to paste a screenshot into the chat box but it doesn’t work like that.
I’ve previously mentioned an evening in 1996 spent downloading the trailer for Star Trek: First Contact. It was the size of a postcard and took 45 minutes.
We were, I should add, enormously impressed.

David, sometime roughly around then I berated a website designer for including a 15KB image in the front page. Made the site effectively impenetrable.
Also I’m not seeing any font changes, using Silk on a Kindle.
