There is growing movement trying back on paying the state pension to old people on the ground that it is becoming unaffordable. In the Guardian, Polly Toynbee tells us that the money should be taken from pensioners and given to young people. In other words, stop handing it out to those who have spent decades paying into the system and instead give it to those who have so far contributed little or nothing.

Oh, and we need to be spending more on asylum seekers, of course, who all need to be housed and fed. Why should those greedy selfish boomers who are sitting around doing nothing useful expect us to keep supporting them? This is essentially the mindset of the moment of many politicians in both the Labor and Conservative parties.

Why not start by seizing the accumulated wealth of Polly Toynbee and everyone else at the Guardian? Wouldn’t that be the apogee of justice?
