A musical interlude.
Band name.
I AM FULL OF CHILI.
That is all. Carry on.
And still no denunciations. Are Texans unaware of this blog, or are they all blocked?
[ Recalls comic opera Texans encountered in YA novels and sometimes in real life. ]
[ Recalls encounters with other real-life comic opera characters holding hilariously chauvinistic opinions about pizza, bagels, BBQ, whiskey, etc. ]
Obligatory SNL clip.
Neither.
[ Heroically finds room for chopped banana with Greek yoghurt and honey. ]
[ Awaits applause. ]
Charles Murray is still Facing Reality.
[C]heap, easy and practical
Oh.
Saturday cooking tips.
This is Alex Vellis, the Canterbury Cathedral ‘Artist’.
He clearly needs to be “marginalized”.
Not unfair.
Heh.
And a key reason they are upper class neighborhoods is that they have standards.
“Everyone in America commits mortgage fraud!”
No, everyone you know commits mortgage fraud.
Now imagine one of those running at your car late at night.
Solving immigration: Trump has it right. Cut off the freebies and offer free plane tickets home. Done.
They could have just moved crossings.
It does, I think, capture something of the psychology in play. Our “card-carrying communist” does seem overly titillated by degeneracy and pettiness, as if it were radical. Rather than routine, common, and squalid. As if the politics, so loudly declared, weren’t just a by-product of a tiresome, spiteful personality. As if the vandalism couldn’t possibly tell us anything about the vandal.
“She/her” also tells us this.
Make of that what you will.
Are you cisgender straight man who is deeply involved in kink or BDSM might not feel at home in LGBTQIA+ spaces but still experiencing marginalization in other ways, or perhaps a polyamorous woman perfectly comfortable with your straight identity but still feeling judged for for your relationship style?
Well, fear no more for the Power of Intersectionality is there for you, please join our new and improved grievance group, easier to spell then LGBTQQIIIAAS2@, simply GSRM!
Yes, Gender, Sexual, and Romantic Minorities!
Please join our marginalized group that won’t shut the hell up.
(“Romantic Minorities”, gosh, I wonder who they could possibly mean)
It occurs to me that the supposedly downtrodden would-be members – neurotic polyamorists, cross-dressing perverts, and actual whores – sorry, people “navigating sexuality as a profession” – probably should feel an occasional flickering of shame.
I mean, it isn’t just, as claimed, some “societal misunderstanding.” They actually are kind of revolting. You wouldn’t generally want them moving in next door.
“Mommy, I can’t get to sleep. The polyamorists are shouting and crying again.”
The National Trust, continuing to, “…promote the permanent preservation for the benefit of the Nation of lands and tenements (including buildings) of beauty or historic interest”.
This time in the Lake District vital work has been done in an historic castle.

Sorry about that, the damn polyester pants acting up again.
The left/liberal/progressive irony blindness hasn’t abated.
Despite it’s brevity, ‘pervert’ just can’t get any traction.
Not without a stout, tall fence and substantial hedges.
Just because everyone at the National Trust needs them . . .
In a band as a stroppy teen, I rented a rehearsal room in an unglamorous, partly disused building – the doorways of which, we belatedly discovered, were used as a rain shelter and windbreak by local prostitutes. When we were heading home after an evening of cacophonous din-making, I got into the habit of saying “Evening, ladies” and being generally polite. Not least because they often outnumbered us.
It has to be said, even then, they did not strike me as ideal candidates for neighbours. I believe the preferred term is rough as fuck.

Extremely useful, but not a complete solution. Consider those illegal immigrant truck drivers: They’re making decent wages so they’re likely to stay here.
And then there’s the problem of all those legal immigrants who won’t assimilate and who hate our society.
Thanks, but I think my radium infused depleted uranium foil boxers have it sorted.
And yet it’s common for leftists to say these people are “just like us”.
See, for instance, the furry comic Omaha the Cat Dancer which is all about how prostitutes are nice folks just like us (except for being oppressed by “the man”.*)
And I’ve personally known commies who made the “just like us” claim about not just sexual “minorities” but also about hood rats.
* I ran into him a couple times long ago at a convention but never had occasion to question him about his claims and assumptions.
The Other Half has been watching The Ten Commandments. We were also watching it yesterday, for many hours. And possibly the day before that.
Hard to be sure. The start of the film seems so long ago.
[ Edges farther away. ]
Speaking of people who won’t assimilate and who hate our society…
Pertinent.
[ Looks film up. ]
I knew it was long, but had forgotten that it was almost 4 hours. And yet it didn’t seem to drag when I last saw it. Likewise Lawrence of Arabia which is about the same length.
The casting is retrospectively amusing. Anne Baxter as Queen Nefretiri is like some camp fever dream. But I don’t think one could say that the audience was short-changed. Mr DeMille really did throw in everything, including at least two dozen kitchen sinks.
And the Passover scene, in which the Angel of Death snakes down from the Moon, has lingered in my memory from when I saw it as a wee seedling.
[ Commotion, shouting. ]
The seas are being parted as I type.
There seems no doubt that both genetics and culture are very important factors.
But a third, which I may have suggested here before, is the possibility that these third world societies are deliberately exporting their crazies and criminals. There are documented instances of this, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it were a widespread phenomenon.
It is known that Cuba and Venezuela explicitly exported criminals to the US. Saved them money and gave us a headache.
It was always a tactical lie, and it never passed the slightest scrutiny, the notion that it’s unintelligent or immoral (at least if you’re white) to notice or act on group incompatibilities, the notion that increasing contact, making it impossible or illegal to avoid contact, will reduce friction.
The essence of minoritarianism, and the sadistic fun for its activists, is forcing you to accommodate groups with whom you have no sympathy and no common ground.
And at this point, “just like us” (families, hopes and dreams, just wanting to make a home) is a cope by people who are unwilling to fully take on board the implication that their neighbors and paper co-citizens aren’t just like us.
Speaking of people who won’t assimilate;
…because “dog free zones” will make the outdoors more inclusive and less racist by excluding dog owners, all of whom are apparently wypipo, you see.
That someone would choose to migrate to a country whose culture and national symbols feature dogs quite heavily, and in which around 35% of households own dogs – and then bitch about the fact that dogs can be seen in parks and that this visibility constitutes “racism” – does suggest both presumption and ingratitude.
…and then bitch about the fact that dogs can be seen in parks and that this visibility constitutes “racism”…
Even more shocking, climate changing, and racist is the astounding discovery that:
I’m guessing that means ground. Damn wypipo can’t even be bothered to toilet train their mutts.
Because they’re invaders, not “migrants”.
