The Mystery That Is Me
Meanwhile, in theological news:
He describes drag as a spiritual experience that allows him to connect with God. “Drag allows me to process the mystery of myself, the mystery of God, the mystery of love, and the mystery of pain,” he said. “When I walk the streets in six-inch heels and wear four pounds of hair, double-stacked wigs, the power which lies within my mystery is released into the world.”
When not releasing his mystery into the world, associate pastor Mr Isaac Simmons, aka Ms Penny Cost, performs slam poetry.

Well of course those were the root cause, couldn’t possibly be anything else.
campus cafeteria: this is the type of person who favors nudges where the gov gets you to do stuff “for your own good”. Or even forces you. Under Michelle Obama the US dept educ. instituted portion control for high schools, which were one size fits all for the 105lb girls and the 180lb football players who would do practice after school on a tiny lunch.
Granted, the water in my town is downright awful.
Ours is so hard Leonardo da Vinci could carve statues from it. These are flat amazing TDS drops to zero, metals and inorganic compounds filtered as well. I reuse plastic bottles, and worst case can fill the bathtubs with tap and run it through these. I have no stock in the company, needed to get one for one of the beasts with renal problems.
I’ll wait ’til the first drag queen imam.
Whether some benign and numinous entity deserving of the title God exists, I couldn’t say…
Was hoping the One True David would have that one sorted.

No refunds. Credit note only.
I’ll give your suggestion the boot.
And if done with both legs beet
And if done with both legs beet
And if done with a funky style, bootsy.
If you meet the David on the road, kill him.

Bookmarked. I do wonder about the effects of completely demineralizing all of one’s drinking water, although I suppose once you’ve taken the lead and arsenic out of it you can always put some magnesium and calcium chloride back in.
If crime was due to racism the prior no-crime condition could not have existed.
Or for that matter, due to race. Thomas Sowell has pointed out that in the Jim Crow era black families were poorer, less educated, and suffered far worse racism yet had a miniscule fraction of the violent crime they do today.
The experiences of the Irish diaspora in the 19th century and the Appalachian coal towns more recently are instructive.
Felicia, I hardly knew ye.
Somehow I suspect this won’t be the end of the story.
“Pilot’s are traditionally…”
Summa you heathens think I made a punctuation error.
For your information, an “are”, a.k.a. “airman’s required explanations”, is a set of standardized verbiage for use when the Administrator sends you one of those nice missives suggesting, in terse but clear language, that you explain youself, you moron, and right quick too. (Cf FAR Part 91.3).
So every pilot literally possesses one.
Damn civilians should keep their weak-ass attempts at humor to themselves. (Or is it “theirselfs”?)
Publican, another sarsparilla, if you please.

My late FIL, a member of the police force back in the ’70s, used to say that black suspects preferred getting arrested by white officers, who would simply cuff them and take them to jail. The black officers made the suspects understand that you don’t make your people look bad.
David, what are you putting in that sarsaparilla.

But since you’re speaking generally, shouldn’t that be “pilots’ ARE traditionally…”? Asking for a civilian friend.
Dunno, actually. My copy of AIM / FAR is so old that AIM stands for “Airman’s Information Manual”, a location that would get the publisher arrested today.
A “locution”, dammit. Farking automiscorrect.
Makes me wonder about the REAL story of Joseph and his coat of many colors, and exactly what he did to cause his brothers to get rid of him.
