Beneath The Planet Of The Bedlamites
This is the cost of talking to white people at all. The cost of your own life, as they suck you dry. There are no good apples out there. White people make my blood boil… I had fantasies of unloading a revolver into the head of any white person that got in my way, burying their body, and wiping my bloody hands as I walked away relatively guiltless with a bounce in my step. Like I did the world a fucking favour.
A dementedly racist woman, Aruna Khilanani, a woman who happily shares her fantasies of killing random white people, is invited to Yale to lecture the young and credulous.
She’s a psychiatrist, by the way, presumably with paying patients.
Note that if you challenge Ms Khilanani’s incoherent rambling, or her wildly arrogant generalisations, or her evasiveness and disregard for actual evidence, this is because you are “defensive,” being white, and are therefore “unable” to process her deep and radical wisdom. Including her conviction that “white people don’t eat bread.”
Her talk, we’re assured, was “very well received.”
Update, via the comments:
Ms Khilanani is eager for the world to understand that she is a thinker, an intellectual. In large, bold letters, we’re told that,
I may be one of the only [sic] psychiatrists in the country that has a Masters level body of knowledge in theory on marginalised identities… I majored in English at the University of Michigan, and completed a Masters of Humanities at the University of Chicago focusing [sic] gender theory, race theory, African American Studies, Embodiment, Post Colonialism, Sexuality, queer theory, Culture, South Asian Studies, and Marxism.
Grammar and proof-reading are not, one assumes, among Ms Khilanani’s many, many areas of focus and expertise. And curiously, the result of all this fierce rumination is a woman who struggles to support, or sustain, any kind of argument, and who appears unable to think in straight lines, such that one thing follows from another. Evidence is reliably absent, as is logical connective tissue. Instead, we get a series of bald assertions, quite a lot of blathering and deflection, and unrelated fragments of what can only be described as a bizarre conspiracy theory. We’re told, for instance, that expectations of racial reciprocity, mutual civility, would be a “false equivalence,” though why remains unclear, beyond the claim that white people are inherently defective, are “psychologically dependent on black rage,” and “have five holes in their brain.”
I had fantasies of unloading a revolver into the head of any white person that got in my way,
A shrink no less, but there’s something deeply Freudian about this. Guns, inadequate penises and total domination. Maybe there was a cock-up during transition surgery.
Judging by her Twitter photo she’s somewhat pale-skinned.
I hope no proper non-white person shoots her in the head, wipes their bloody hands and walks away with a bounce in their step knowing they’ve done the world a fucking favour. She’d probably understand why though.
I’m still confused about the bread part. Is following a keto diet a “White thing?” Jesus Christ, I’m just trying to get my A1C levels down, not start a race war.
I note she says there are “White BIPOCs,” those who have internalized Whiteness. Can I internalize “Blackness?” Is that what the small percentage of White friends that she kept did? I’m going out on a limb here and say her circle of friends is likely very small because no one wants to be at the receiving end of that revolver – which may very well be real, noting that she mentioned a specific type of firearm versus just saying “gun” – when she finally snaps.
From the website College Tuition Compare:
The average tuition & fees of Yale School of Medicine is $64,024 for academic year 2020-2021.
From the poster advertising the event:
It is the policy of Yale School of Medicine, Continuing Medical Education, to ensure balance, independence, objectivity and scientific rigor in all its educational programs.
From the event:
[White people] suck you dry. There are no good apples out there. White people make my blood boil [ … ] White people are out of their minds and they have been for a long time [ … ] We keep forgetting that directly talking [to white people] about race is a waste of our breath. We are asking a demented, violent predator who thinks that they are a saint or a superhero, to accept responsibility. It ain’t gonna happen. They have five holes in their brain.
when she finally snaps.
If that bridge hasn’t already been crossed, I suspect we’re well past halfway.
A dementedly racist woman, Aruna Khilanani, a woman who happily shares her fantasies of killing random white people, is invited to Yale to lecture the young and credulous.
No black intellectual ever lost money by being too racist.
Remember John Derbyshire’s version of The Talk? We clearly need a version for academia.
I hope no proper non-white person shoots her in the head…
You mean like what happened to British BLM fascist Sasha Johnson, shot in the head last month by black gangsters?
“My masters is in humanities and the focus is largely on critical theory.”
No? Really?
Ah, right. So saying “white people bad“ isn’t racist because white people really are bad. Okay. Phew, I’m glad we cleared that up. Otherwise people might go around forming prejudices or something.
Otherwise people might go around forming prejudices or something.
Again, note how woke posturing is routinely antithetical to expectations of reciprocity. And this is the standard now. This is good enough. This will be rewarded with applause.
It’s hard being POX in a country half-full of white people who are smarter than you, better looking than you, more capable than you, and just plain better than you. As a legacy American, it took me a long time to realize just how angry it makes people to be surrounded by a superior race. I think most white people still don’t understand this.
Believe me, legacy American brothers and sisters, there will never be a reconciliation. They will always hate us unless we genetically engineer ourselves to bring us down to their level.
Judging by her Twitter photo she’s somewhat pale-skinned.
Appears to be a name from somewhere on the sub-continent, so obviously generational trauma from British Raj days, and BAME, BIPOC, or other alphabet qualification.
However, in her own words,
I know you are all surprised.
focusing gender theory, race theory, African American Studies, Embodiment, Post Colonialism, Sexuality, queer theory, Culture, South Asian Studies, and Marxism
That’s some focus – or maybe just a blur…
she’s somewhat pale-skinned.
White, she is. And nuts.
An interview with the MD MA.
Yep, NYC med schools and hospitals are hotbeds of racism.
Oh.
If you read further, and please do, at your own risk, she also seems to have an obsession with thinking wypipo don’t eat bread.
Right. I think we can file this all under “Wolkenkuckucksheim”. Word.
Let’s fix that:
“I majored in English at the University of Michigan, and completed a Masters of Humanities at the University of Chicago focusing Marxism, Marxism, Marxism, (?????), Marxism, Marxist Sexuality, queer Marxism, Marxism, Marxism, and Marxism.”
I think they did a…
Well, I think… wait a tic… no, I know you’re nuts, lady. A total whackerdoodlejob. Fruitcake.
“…Marxist Sexuality, queer Marxism, Marxism, Marxism, and Marxism.”
It’s like the Monty Python spam sketch. “Have you got any classes with no Marxism?”
“Have you got any classes with no Marxism?”
Well, there’s Marxism, Foucalt and Engles, and Marxism, that’s not got much Marxism in it.
Otherwise people might go around forming prejudices or something.
The nearest thing to a redeeming comment in the entire interview is Ms Khilanani’s disdain for white liberals, by which she means severely educated white middle-class lefties, whose narcissism and insincerity, and racial neuroticism, aggravates her.
As well it might, I suppose.
But without the racial neuroticism of severely educated white middle-class lefties, without all that exploitable “white guilt,” it seems somewhat unlikely that Ms Khilanani would have been indulged quite so much, for quite so long, not least in academia, or would now have status as a Professionally Resentful Brown Person, or have an effectively unchallenged platform from which she can badmouth white people as monsters – the deserving objects of murderous fantasies.
Geez people. She’s a psychiatrist, OK? A psychiatrist. And not just any backwards local yokel one. She’s speaking at Yale, not some podunk backwoods land-grant college like you may have attended…it’s fucking YALE. OK? So maybe it’s you people who are the actual crazies here. Obviously not her. Ask me again how I know these things. Sheesh. Morons.
Once people paid to visit Bedlam & view the insane in situ. Now the insane visit you. This doesn’t seem an improvement.
Yes yes, the doctor has a point because here is just another in a series of assaults on Asians by roving bands of white supremacists.
As an aside, *she who must be obeyed* saw this, and commented that for the “professional” class women today, “white” means blonde or redhead, as lily white black hair women are “of color”, or somehow immune from being white. Like a Kardashian.
*her words, not mine*

In this case, the victim isn’t, I think, Asian. Possibly Hispanic. The woman has no idea why she was targeted.

Embrace the healing power of “and”.
From insty’s post, she’s quoted “There have been wars all over the world over grains and bread”
We salute those who fought in the grain and bread wars, and take comfort in knowing that yes, Pepperidge Farms Remembers…

We salute those who fought in the grain and bread wars,…..
Except the White Bread Brigades… obvs.
From insty’s post, she’s quoted “There have been wars all over the world over grains and bread”
Quotations from Chairman Naan:
With such an obsession, one wonders if there was a traumatic event with a loaf of Bunny Bread™ in the past.
for the “professional” class women today, “white” means blonde or redhead
Really? I’ve never encountered that point of view before.
However, it does bring up an historical point: In the mid 20th Century common knicknames included “whitey” for blonde men and “blackie” for black haired men.
And the interviewer – perhaps like many before her – doesn’t challenge this in any realistic way. Instead, it is indulged.
It seems like that’s how a sizeable percentage of “news” is made these days.
Instead, it is indulged.
Yeah, perhaps, but bear in mind this is a yte doing the interview with someone who just lectured she had fantasies of blowing some yte’s head off.
Sometimes the risk assessment is it is better not to antagonize.
But wait a minute here on the bread thing. Again, half the story. Crazy as she may be, the bread thing is about the gluten obsession:
Now maybe this is just my “lived experience” but virtually everyone whom I know who has gluten issues is a leftist douchebag. Not all mind you. I do know one or two Trump supporters who have or had issues with gluten. But to some extent, maybe she’s actually on to something here. Like how a blind nut occasionally finds a squirrel…
Crazy as she may be, the bread thing is about the gluten obsession:
Only in part.
Everyone white, because it is really internalized guilt or some similar claptrap. Evidently no PoCs ever claim to have gluten intolerance, ever, or if they do, it is because of “internalized whiteness”, which leads to this mess.

I think you just described those Different Ways of Knowing that they keep blathering on about. So I guess it’s Racist, and probably Colonialist too, to expect BIPOC BAME whatevers to use logic and reason, and to back up their assertions with evidence. That interviewer is just showing us how it’s done, how we’re supposed to respond to this Different Way of Knowing. Indulged indeed – the CRT Maolings are gonna beat their heels in tantrums until they are indulged to their satisfaction. Which will never happen (the satisfaction, not the indulging). So the screaming will continue.
Which will never happen (the satisfaction,
So one might say that they can’t get no satisfaction?

Definitely hispanic. The thug has been arrested.
Here’s another take on this story, titled “Shrink in New York tells the Yale University audience that she is fancy about shooting a white head”. Seems to be in a Texas vernacular with which I am not familiar.
Seems to be in a Texas vernacular with which I am not familiar.
Maybe a translation back into English from a foreign language that the original English was translated into?
She needs professional help.
Oh wait….
Oh wait
As Robert Stacy McCain once put it, “When I said that the mentally ill should be in institutions, public universities weren’t the kind of institutions I had in mind.”

Not entirely unrelated.

Maybe a translation back into English from a foreign language that the original English was translated into?
That was a thought I had but what language would that be? The web site is titled “Texas News Today”… dot com. And it was one of the first page hits when I searched Google News for “Yale University”.
Not entirely unrelated.
We should remember that NPR (National Public Radio) used to be the National Educational Radio Network: government subsidized broadcasts of educational and cultural programs that the commercial networks were uninterested in because they would not be profitable. Bringing symphony orchestra broadcasts and talks on history and science to the entire populace was a fine thing…until the left took over. But the left will take over and destroy anything unless their hands are slapped hard.
I think you just described those Different Ways of Knowing that they keep blathering on about.
If you can endure the audio of the lecture, it’s quite a thing. Our supposed expert, our self-styled intellectual, employs the vernacular of a gum-chewing high schooler, complete with unfinished sentences, adolescent profanity, and a heavy atmosphere of self-satisfaction. The lecture, such as it is, is bewilderingly disjointed – little more than a series of begged questions and circular arguments. Assertions are simply aired, baldly, as if self-evident – as if any concession to expectations of evidence, consistency, or even the most minimal supporting logic would be demeaning, unworthy of her time.
And with an audience of students at one of the most prestigious universities in the world, no-one points and laughs. Because, for the woke, this is the standard.

I’ve noticed a lot of that recently. 🙁
I now think much better of Victorian society- they at least made you pay to gawp at lunatics, rather than giving it away free…
Thanks. Interesting. Not that it surprises me but as I said, it was on the first page of links when I googled “Yale University” from the google news page. It still doesn’t make much sense. If you’re savvy enough, out of all the potential news sites and searches in the world, to get your link that high in the google hit list, you’d think you could put together some degree of viable text, auto translated or not. Of course there’s the possibility that google is suppressing so much information that the lexically incoherent has a better probability of getting through the filters…naaaaah. That’s crazy talk.
Then isn’t the solution for blacks to sabotage all the ytes by ceasing to be enraged, thus depriving us of something we depend on, and thereby depriving us of a needed ‘psychological support?’ I would expect the end of yte supremacy by next Tuesday, at the latest.
The Glorious World of Next Tuesday!

Plausible. When the Google search engine first appeared, I did not dream that the people at Google would end up manipulating results for their own political purposes.
How much did those universities charge in fees for their fake degrees? Almost makes you understand why she wants reparations. At one level, she realises they have robbed her of money and a worthwhile life.
“We should remember that NPR (National Public Radio) used to be the National Educational Radio Network: government subsidized broadcasts of educational and cultural programs that the commercial networks were uninterested in because they would not be profitable. Bringing symphony orchestra broadcasts and talks on history and science to the entire populace…”
Here’s the thing, though: NBC was already doing that in the 1930s. Back before WWII, NBC had two radio networks: the “Red” and the “Blue”. The Red network was the mainstream, commercial, one, while the Blue network was where they tried out shows yet to find a sponsor, and – importantly – those which they felt couldn’t, such as, oh, symphony orchestra broadcasts and talks on history and science.
Of course, the
smartarsesgovernment decided that the extravagance of owning two networks was monopolistic behaviour (CBS and Mutual’s successes notwithstanding), and forced NBC to divest the Blue. It ultimately became ABC, which, of course, having to sustain itself without the Red network’s subsidy, ended up as a mainstream commercial network just like the others. However, if you go twenty or thirty years further back in history, you find that previous governmental smartarses had waived antitrust and other regulations (and indulged in some fairly shady shenanigans involving patent law) in order to set NBC up as the National Broadcasting Company, with the intention of it being something like an American BBC.
It’s not hard to come to the conclusion that the chief business of government is solving problems of its own creation.
Here’s the thing, though: NBC was already doing that in the 1930s. Back before WWII, NBC had two radio networks: the “Red” and the “Blue”…
I did not know about that, or forgot long ago.

What’s interesting isn’t so much the gleeful bigotry, which is pretty routine among such creatures, as the reception it meets with. You have to wonder why nobody present – none of the self-imagined intellectuals, our would-be elite – offered any serious pushback to the racist content, and why nobody laughed at the farcical quality of the lecture. An incompetent grifter was among them, being about as racist as a person could be, and… they indulged her, they deferred. Are we to believe that the students all agreed with Ms Khilanani, or were they just reluctant to speak up? And if the latter, what, exactly, were they afraid of?
… what, exactly, were they afraid of?
In news that will no doubt shock everyone around here, it seems that while the tactics of the latter-day Storm Detachment are crude, they are not altogether unsuccessful:
“We’re standing here telling you you’re being racist, you’re being offensive … why can’t you say sorry?”
“Fuck white fragility! Fuck white fragility! … Fuck Jordan Peterson! Fuck Jordan Peterson!“
“Nazis and White Supremacists assaulting people at your protest – do you have any comment on that? … Are there views in alignment with yours?”
“Charles Murray, go away! Racist! Sexist! Anti-Gay!”
All the more so when this Sturmabteilung, much like their predecessors, have friends in high places condoning or even endorsing the same:
“Be careful. Walk lightly. We ain’t playin’ with you.”
“My intention was, to basically be an analysis of whiteness as a political ideology, as a structural power”
“Racism is in the DNA of this system and no reform or no legislation can change that. Nothing short of Revolution can bring freedom”
“Charles Murray, go away! Racist! Sexist! Anti-Gay!”
For those who missed it.

True. But even upstream from that, and this is often what I find myself pondering about these sorts of things as well is how does such a thing happen in the first place? This isn’t the a meeting of the Village Green Preservation Society, it’s bloody Yale. Who asked her to speak there? Why? Who verified her credentials? Is such a thing decided by the whims of just one person? She doesn’t seem in any way extraordinarily in a positive sense anyway. And the audience as well. I get that most people might just be going along to get along but out of a large group of attendees, people to whom presumably value their time (heh) nobody raised an eyebrow beforehand?
You have to wonder why nobody present – none of the self-imagined intellectuals, our would-be elite – offered any serious pushback to the racist content…
I have become convinced that academia is almost entirely run by leftists who see “anti-racism” as a useful too to destroy us. Most of those leftists are white, but they believe that because they will be immune because they will be part of the ruling class/nomenklatura. And then there are the academics who go along even though they have misgivings because they don’t want to endanger their jobs. Better to quietly let the Stalinists create a terror state than to be demoted or fired. And what’s more, most of those cowards half agree with the Stalinists.
That was supposed to be “useful tool“. Argh.

I don’t know what the state of things in in the UK, in academia and elsewhere, but in the US with BLM and Obama and Biden both leading the charge that the US is a horrible awful racist place, with large corporations jumping on the bandwagon along with all major sports, the media leading the slavering Twitter mob ready to pounce, they are afraid of disagreeing for the sake of their jobs and their livelihoods. The students – they are young and spoiled parasites who’ve been marinating in this all their lives, so I would say a great many of them do actually agree. Heck – students were the leaders of many of Mao’s struggle sessions – they were worse than the adults. The university administration are all spineless sheep that jump on the “we’re so horrible” bandwagon and prostrate themselves before whatever victim group is currently in fashion. Right now it’s the BIPOC BAME but with June being pride month, the gay and trans and all the other flags of specialness are trying to get some attention. So the BIPOC BAME are getting even louder and crazier.
Full disclosure I do research at a university in the US, and sorry, WTP, but I keep my mouth shut and myself firmly in the closet because I need the job. Academia is a toxic mess, even on the science and engineering side. Clown Quarter sounds too innocuous. Mao’s Great Leap Forward is more like it.
Most of the work we do is because of the work we do.
