Ohio social studies teachers – and by extension, their students – will learn that having brown skin is some kind of accomplishment, a basis for applause and favours, unlike being white, which is apparently the opposite, a basis for atonement. In order to achieve “absolution” – and yes, that term is used in the recommended literature, with all that it implies – the “stone idol” of “whiteness” must be “smashed to pieces.” Students and educators are also informed that insofar as “white people” have any culture at all, it is merely one “of colonisation, of genocide, of taking,” in which “envy and fear” are defining features. It is, we’re assured, “the culture of death.”
If the above suggests the outpourings of monomaniacal bedlamites with dubious intentions, the kind of people you really shouldn’t entrust with influence over your children, then you may be on to something.
Which is why, to a certain extent, it doesn’t really matter who gets to sit in the Big Chair for the next four years next week. The damage is done, and there seems no way of eradicating the Progressive Virus, even if we manage to eradicate COVID…

Well, I’m assuming that parents won’t generally appreciate their children being encouraged to believe that being white is proof of some innate depravity, that bourgeois values are something to “smash,” and that looting and rioting are, like, totally groovy.

I’m not convinced that most parents would disapprove. Most people I talk to about this remain ignorant of the detail and tend to think of this in terms of the activists are inheriting the movements of Martin Luther King and Malcolm X. At worst they perceive youthful excesses which they balance off against mythical white supremacists which they read about in their newspapers and watch on TV.
I once thought the bald fact of them reversing Martin Luther King’s injunction to judge on the content of character not the colour of skin, would make anyone decent pause for thought, but it’s not enough.

With History, Civics and Geography now non existent, sure, why not skip directly to cultural Marxism in the curriculum. The foundation for nihilism is already well “constructed”. And yet, conservatives still support the fallacy of centrally planned public education ignoring the fact that control of it is always just an election away.
If these looters continue I expect in some cities the National Guard or the Army will be drafted in with orders to shoot looters. Perhaps next week after President Trump is re-elected?

Nothing says it can’t be extended north along I-5 to separate the mostly normal CA, OR, WA to the east from the stark raving bonkers loons to the west. While we are at it we can do the same with I-95 north from Norfolk to keep out the eejits to the east, and while we are at it, straight across Florida somewhere just south of Apalachicola.
When I see this and when I then read about the Girls Scouts of America taking down a tweet that congratulated ACB on her elevation to the Supreme Court because transwomen were offended by it, I do believe that White women are more at risk to becoming “unpeople “ than White men. I mean, the patriarchy still needs to be smashed and all, but at least they get to keep their gender.
