Screeching Truth To Power
Further to this video of the hat-stealing, drunk-driving, threat-making racist and Angry Studies devotee Edith Macias, Jennifer Kabbany has more:
Peers of the young Latina woman who swiped the hat, Edith Macias, have rallied to her defence, demanding the university protect her from any charges and even pay her rent in a “solidarity” document released Oct. 1.
The “statement of solidarity” is the usual dumpster fire of hyperbole, dishonesty and pretension, and makes no mention whatsoever of Ms Macias publicising her own behaviour and urging others to copy it, complete with hashtag. We do, however, learn that Tucker Carlson is a “far-right white supremacist.” With almost charming obliviousness, the statement also demands that Ms Macias be provided with free mental health counselling, due to the “emotionally and physically taxing nature” of being outed, not least by herself, as a thief who indulges in racial diatribes and threats of violence, both verbally and in writing.
As noted in Friday’s thread, and in light of these demands for further cossetting and exemption, the odds of Ms Macias reflecting on her own behaviour and assumptions, and how they result in the dramas of her life, seem vanishingly slim.
the statement also demands that Ms Macias be provided with free mental health counselling,
Everything should be free. Choices should never have consequences.
Ms. Macias is:
Anti Free-Speech.
Anti-American.
Anti-White.
Tell me again about the benefits of immigration.
I watched the video again this morning. The lunacies of Ms Macias’ extended rant – including her claim that hats cause genocide, which is bad, and her simultaneous delight at the thought of white people being gotten rid of, which is good, apparently – are still quite entertaining.
But setting that aside, I’m trying to imagine what it must be like to be so emotionally unstable and reactive, such that even a hat can result in explosions of rage and incoherent posturing, and ultimately the involvement of campus police. There are plenty of things that I find disagreeable or insulting, but I don’t feel compelled to bark at every one of them or get involved in a physical altercation, complete with racist comments and boasts of impending thuggery.
Not too long ago, the local student communist group thought it amusing to block a busy road and show off their hammer-and-sickle banners, along with signs demanding the hanging of anyone insufficiently leftwing. The fact that the unintelligible ‘protest’ was causing a massive traffic jam, at the start of rush-hour, and preventing hundreds of parents from collecting their children from the primary school adjacent to this piece of street theatre… none of that seemed to concern them. Indeed the students and assorted misfits seemed to enjoy the power to frustrate random people. And yet, despite this, it didn’t occur to me to jump out of the car and start stealing things or shouting racial epithets.

It’s because no one would reward such behavior. I’d imagine that Ms.Macias has been taught that white Americans are evil throughout her time in the education system, and that it’s perfectly acceptable to use violence and threats of violence against them. With the current media hysteria against President Trump and white people in general, she obviously thought that her actions would be rewarded rather than punished.
tl;dr
If you reward bad behavior, you get more of it.
If you reward bad behavior, you get more of it.
And worse behaviour.
And worse behaviour.
Indeed. At the moment, the Left are ratcheting up to find out where, and if, Americans will draw the line on their behavior.
Indeed.
Well, the claims by faculty and campus bureaucrats that they want minority students to flourish in the world are somewhat at odds with the antisocial behaviour and attitudes that they excuse and actively encourage. And which seem more likely to result in conspiracy theories, paranoia, a lack of friends, possible arrest and incarceration, and long periods of unemployment.
See also these fine examples of minority empowerment.
“‘Make America Great Again’ coded ‘Continue the Genocide of POC’
Right-o. Considering that the POC (but not CP) are an increasing percent of the whole population, that whole MAGA thing and Persons of Pallor are doing a remarkably lousy job of genocide.
You have to wonder if these goons ever think about that which they spout.
…[T]hat whole MAGA thing and Persons of Pallor are doing a remarkably lousy job of genocide.
It’s reminiscent of the chuckling Ashleigh Shackelford telling a room of white women how genetically evil they are, yet who manages to make her presentation without being pummeled with coffee cups and partially eaten bagels.
I misread the Macias supporter’s demands. For a moment I thought they were offering to pay her rent in solidarity. I really don’t have the thinking brain in today.
Thanks for the Ashleigh Sandford show, now where is my eyebleach? She belongs on http://www.peopleofwalmart.com
Also, I think I have had enough of Ms Macias now. I want to know more about the pretty girl with long dark hair, wearing faded jeans, who appears in the beginning of the hat video. If I have any criticism of this blog, other than the spam filter*, it is that it seems to focus rather too much on 300lb blue-haired swampdonkeys.
We need a SJWILF section…
*for which I have the utmost respect obviously…
*shivers, looks nervously over shoulder*
She took the hat to the student life office and demand he not be allowed to wear it.
also calls for administrators to “grant Macias amnesty and protection from any student or legal charges.”
These are the parts that send it into surreality for me. They just don’t seem to grasp that they’re demanding things that are actually impossible. The school can’t grant amnesty from legal charges. The student life office has no power. It’s just silly on the face of it.

No refunds. Credit note only.
300lb blue-haired swampdonkeys
MATA: Make America Thin Again
Low hanging fruit, dear.
They just don’t seem to grasp that they’re demanding things that are actually impossible.
I have a friend who used to work for the Citizens Advice Bureau, and one of his big complaints was people who couldn’t distinguish between different organisations. People who wanted a refund for their faulty washing machine who couldn’t grasp that, while he could certainly write a letter to the company they bought the washing machine from, he couldn’t actually give them their refund himself. And people who had been turned down for a benefit by the Social Security Agency expecting him to be able to reverse the decision. Every body or organisation they might have dealings with was just part of a big amorphous Them, and my friend could speak and act for all of them.
One notes that the linked GoogleDoc listing the group’s various demands also includes space for readers to add their names to the list of those offended. One sincerely hopes that the organizers publish their supporters list in its entirety, if only so that the rest of us may grade one another on the cleverness of our contributions.
Also, while I’m not a California taxpayer, I would be more than willing to chip in a few bucks to give that poor creature as much mental counseling as she could take, and then some. Perhaps administered by Jack Lint, with a bit of the old Ludwig van thrown in for good measure.
I wonder how many of these rabid SJWs — these fine young fascists — wake up one day and say to themselves “I’ve been a horse’s ass. I think I’ll grow up now.”
It must happen. You don’t see raving loonies like this nearly so much in the older population. Perhaps, though, they’ve just learned to hide their intolerance better, having suffered backlash over their tantrums.
I think we are making the mistake of not aggressively discouraging such pathologies when they first appear. It was said up-thread, if you reward bad behaviour, you get more of it.

Give it some time. We’ll get there.
The student life office has no power. It’s just silly on the face of it.
Not if you’re children playing “make believe” adults. You just make stuff up as you go.
But let them rant. Having Edith as a friend is punishment enough.
In a decade or thereabouts we will know whether the lunacy displayed by Ms Macias prevails in society, or whether there is still a critical mass of sanity that has somehow survived the indoctrination of public education, pop culture, and social media.
Me? I’m not a betting man.
I’m not a betting man.
I’m a betting man. Problem is I don’t like taking a bet when even when I win I lose.
