Ehn. Worse yet, the artist could be tapping away at a really large chunk of rock for month after month, trying to get some statue to appear, or, for a shortcut, could merely dab slowly drying paint onto canvas for several days or a week or two or three.

Yes, I suppose so. However, with the right lighting the luminosity of this image could be quite dazzling and life-like, especially when compared to a large format print on paper.

I’m not sure what I’m looking at. The use of “sprocket holes” top and bottom gives the illusion of “strips of film” but surely this is a collage of single frames?
(That Shanghai Tower film had me well gripped.)
