Okay, that does it. Everybody get ready for the Rapture…
Thanks for the Delia Derbyshire documentary.
How the Doctor Who theme might have sounded without Delia Derbyshire.

It’s catchy, in a not-very-Doctor Who kind of way. Unless the Doctor drives a Jag, seduces switched-on babes and is played by Peter Wyngarde.
Thanks for the squid link. It’s my daughter’s nickname and she can identify several species from pictures alone. I like trying to trick her with photos of cuttlefish. She’s never heard of the very unique big-fin squid, so i can’t wait to show her that video tonight.
Matt, dicentra has a collection of cephalopod images.

The Doctor Who theme reminded me of . . .
. . . consider also The Prisoner.
And in parallel compare the general productions of the 1965 What’s New Pussycat with the 1967Casino Royale.
I suspect we have a matter of an overall shared sounds of the period . . . .
The Invisible Cow thing has to be, even by the standards of the internet, the silliest game ever.
I’m pretty sure you’ll like this.
