It looks like they’re wearing Ronald McDonald wigs.
I like the attention to detail – the hats, the swaggering and the burly chap at the end who falls at the first hurdle. It made me laugh more than seems proper. I think it’s because it’s so horribly plausible. You just know that if someone were to build one and leave it unsupervised, it would, fairly quickly, be used in that way.
See, I had to google the XTC reference. I was actually thinking of Howard the Duck and his grumbling about being stuck on a planet populated by “hairless apes.”

Yes, their co-ordination seems charmingly impaired. But by my count five plucky heroes do make it past the giant whirling bar of doom.

Some of those people watch too much World Cup soccer. There’s definitely a significant amount of faking going on.

Yep, 5 got past, right at the beginning. Love the last guy, trips over the first body and lies there kicking until the bar gets to him.
Suggestions for next thing-o’-doom? How about a big mosquito zapper?

Over here in the US, where red and blue dominate our meaningless, hopelessly politicized national dialog, as preposterous as it is, this piece is especially poignant. We rush in to be scythed down by Machine, where we frantically wiggle around in heaps as it were.
You Brits would need red and blue notably present in your system to feel this pain as acutely. You know, in the flag or something.

Beer? Your average LIV needs no beer to achieve this level of competence.
Snork. It looks like they’re wearing Ronald McDonald wigs.

Hmmm. I can hear an XTC song somewhere in this post title…

Good way to deal with zombies.

Oddly enough, I found it while eating a cheese toastie in a café in the park. Does that count?
I watched it while listening to Pink Floyd’s “Time”. Mind blown. Imagine all the evil applications for this device.

“Does that count?”
No, needs more bacon.
Cheers
Disturbing. Not quite Aphex Twin Come To Daddy disturbing, but still.
