At last, lollipops that play rap music through your teeth. || At least it does that. || Coin-operated elevators. || Competitive window tinting. || I guess we’ll never know. || While you’re at it, mate. || “My WiFi cuts out when I experience powerful emotions.” || Today’s word is parenting. || Place in food chain negotiation. || For reasons not entirely clear, people with low sex drive demand visibility. || A head of the sexuals. || How to get shot. || Working in a “self-service” shop, 1961. || I’m afraid the unsee button is out of order. || And lo, a mighty roar. || Enjoying the moment. || Brief intermission. || It’s a take. || At last, your very own Star Trek casserole dish and matching communi-grater. || Facial. || How to make fire. || The making of Flash Gordon, 1980. || And finally, scenes of interspecies fondling.

Never noticed. The taste & texture is indistinguishable.
Variation on a theme.
I’m assuming Mr Little Girl’s Hair Clips is letting us know that he wants to punch women who disagree with him. Something along those lines.
You have to be careful what you put in ice-cream, because it is frozen. Actual chocolate will turn into inedible stones. So a slightly softer version is used.
I found this out when I put whole blueberries in homemade ice-cream. The eating of the blueberry flavoured bullets was tiresome.
If we’re going to do voluptuous black women sculptures, I prefer the work of Nnamdi Okonkwo. His figures are more expressive, more humane, and more attractive.
Let’s just check in on the Green Party:
Okay then.
But then you’re supporting The Patriarchy. And plus, the point is to have you say you like something you actually don’t.
Allow him in the same bathroom as young girls?
I don’t want to allow him in the same bathroom as anyone.
OTOH, one thing I greatly enjoy is cutting up fresh mint and mixing it in with high quality vanilla. Very good.
[ Room falls silent, eyes widen. ]
I’m not sitting through a 41-minute video for the “thoughts”.
It could be worse: imagine being David and having to eat flavoured chunks instead.
Indeed, rather a distinction without much difference.
Not entirely effective, it seems.
Ouija board, Miss Cleo, or The Amazing Criswell, and, as there is certainly no other way to tell, did they consult her about gender or are they assuming that?
“abolish landlords”: aside from the hilarity of coming from someone who is herself a landlord, the idea is insane. For anyone who is not yet far enough along in their career to buy a property, the only option is to rent. Renting means someone must offer a rental. That someone is a landlord. The “abolish” advocates really mean the government should offer housing, but gov housing always always falls into disrepair and crime and never never is enough to meet demand.
They did consul ‘with Egyptian colleagues, members of the Egyptian diaspora and visitors to the museum’, though what special insight the descendants of a long line of invaders might offer regarding a culture they’ve eradicated isn’t specified.
Also from that article:
Like, say, the Irish?
The same lot blathering on about ‘indigenous knowings’ are busy trying to bury all traces of the methods by which the indigenes gathered their ‘knowledge’.
It would be interesting to compare the frequency of pinheads referring in hushed tones to “indigenous ways of knowing” with the frequency with which those ways of knowing are actually specified.
“[Fill-in-the-blank] ways of knowing” is just another way of saying “Give me what I want and don’t question”.
City-owned housing in New York illustrates this very well.
To get good gelato and ice cream around here, I have to travel 50 miles each way to Berkeley, to visit Caravaggio (the shop, not the artist). So I only get there maybe once a year.

[ Contemplates forthcoming bonfire of the outerwear ]
Gelato, once a year?
[ Faints. ]
Once a year in Berzerkeley might be my limit.
And 50 miles is not a sufficiently safe distance.
[thinks…What outerwear? It’s 75F right now.]
Because otherwise it’s your underwear that will be on fire in the alley.
And, given our host’s firm opinions, the likelihood of you still being in it is not negligible.
I have the strength of 8 because my heart is pure-ish.
The Correction Booth seems to have proved too expensive to keep in good repair.
@Stephanie Richer: Light being.
Are you saying you don’t like that sculpture? How about this one?
The women in his sculptures aren’t in your face, arrogant, sassy. They’re relaxed, joyous, or contemplative. They seem like people you’d want to be around.
That woman in blue is meant to intimidate. The women in yellow are more human.
How about this? Seems fair.
