Our Bellowing Man-Witch shouts, theatrically, “I am the villain of this world,” as if he were a martyr, presumably in some attempt to elicit sympathy and thereby compliance. But in a non-trivial sense, he is a villain. As I said regarding this bestubbled maiden:
Wanting the power to make others tell quite blatant lies about what is and isn’t real, and to thereby make those people cowed and absurd, is what makes him a bad person. A villain in this low-grade cross-dressing drama.
The demand for dishonesty, the demand that lies should be imposed, ain’t a virtue or a basis for applause.

I suspect a realistic discussion of the phenomenon – should one be permitted – might be more likely to make grifting inadequates like Ms Lewis a tad uncomfortable.
Say, by acknowledging who did almost all of the catching and selling of said merchandise. Or by acknowledging the fact that the number of people enslaved within Africa, by Africans, vastly exceeds the number transported to the Americas. Or by acknowledging the fact that the African slave trade long predated – and outlasted – the exploitation by White Devils of that unhappy custom, that pre-existing industry.

You’ve got to wonder what goes through her husband’s mind when she says such things. Can he really be comfortable with such open hatred? Can he not see it for what it is? Is he a masochist? Or is he so thoroughly indoctrinated as to embrace his own dehumanization?
But then, I had the same thoughts about the husband of female chauvinist and SF writer Suzette Haden Elgin, who was so extreme in her contempt for men that even some of the feminists took notice.
