She plays a Greek soldier, you know.
After viewing this video, I very much doubt Page will be shown walking in The Odyssey. pic.twitter.com/UQBH4xdRjm

A mighty warrior. And a skilled deceiver.
And as this is fundraising week, which keeps this place here, do feel free to make use of the tip jar.
Open thread, me hearties.

But it’s her relative height that is jarringly inappropriate. And her (non-)muscularity.
EDIT: But of course you knew that and were merely offering a bit of interesting historical trivia.
The all powerful internet is saying he was involved in deceiving the Trojans with the horsey subterfuge. So, it’s not in either of Homer’s epics. But it’s Odyssey adjacent. It’s perhaps Nolan doing a ‘previously on Homer’ reel for those watching for the first time.
The actual Odyssey does refer to the Trojan horse incident, and interestingly, there is supposedly a lost Ancient Greek narrative poem
in which this is the main theme (so Simon presumably figures greatly in it). Maybe Homer quotes it in the passage where Odysseus meets the bard. IDK.
Per Wikipedia¹, Sinon (or Sinopos) was mentioned in Virgil’s Aeneid and other accounts.
Bronze Age women are estimated to have ranged from 4’9″ to 5’6″ so Page is about average height for a woman at the time. Still below the average of 5’5″ for men of the time.
