An Ability To Ignore Dissonance

“How little they understand us,” says he. Sorry, he/him. Because pronouns in bio, obviously. Again, cue the meme.
But remember, dear reader, the routine and often vehemently announced antipathy of so many progressives towards people of pallor – as seen, for instance, here, and here, and here, and here, and here and here – is merely a figment of your fevered imagination.

It was all just a misunderstanding, see? Your fault entirely.
The cattier among you will have noted the choice of profile photo.

See he/him thinking deeply.
Update, via the comments:
Following much mockery, our book-reading pronoun stipulator is now referring to his numerous quoted posts – in which he refers to massive, indiscriminate third-world immigration as “just a thing that is happening,” and in which he says white people are “the worst” and should be “cancelled” and “abolished” – as being some misunderstood subtlety of thought. While sneering at those who noticed these statements as “chuds.”
This process is of course resulting in people uncovering more of the same.
Oh, and then there’s this, approvingly reposted by our deep and subtle thinker:

Given the increasing luridness and frequency with which these horror-show scenes are happening, and given what is at stake should this trend continue – all these vibrant stabbings and rapes – asking pertinent questions with a view to making them stop doesn’t strike me as obvious proof of scumbaggery.
I mean, if you aren’t allowed to recognise the pattern and identify the problem – the dare I say it, root causes – then such horrors will continue and most likely multiply, perhaps very quickly. And it seems a bit rich to rush to one’s fainting couch because someone used the word “savage” to refer to a third-world migrant, supposedly a source of our enrichment, ululating in triumph while attempting to behead a native on the streets of Belfast.
Apparently the indigenous are allowed to be briefly upset, but only before ramping up their tolerance and inclusivity, and carrying on as before, as if nothing of significance had happened, or will happen again, and again, with ever greater boldness. While the process, to which we mustn’t pay any attention, and regarding which we mustn’t ask obvious questions, continues.
Anna, needless to say – the woman crying “scumbag” and boasting of being a Labour voter – also thinks you need to know her pronouns.
Again, patterns.
Consider this an open thread. Share ye links and so forth.

There was, apparently, a similar kind of showing of about a half dozen red & black, masked guys carrying a black flag with a swastika on it in Athens, GA (home of U of GA) during pride parades this weekend. Of course most commenters thought they were real. I mentioned Patriot Front. Crickets.
Via Ace:
That’s a man’s head – Judith beheading Holofernes.
Well, it’s supposed to be a man’s head. But Judith is supposed to be Jewish so make of it what you will.
No.
It’s because carrying a knife on school grounds violates school policy and the code of conduct Anthony and other members of his school team signed. Texas law also prohibits blades 5.5 inches or longer in certain contexts (‘location-restricted’).
Yeah. No. You weren’t watching what I was watching. And ignoring:
So you can put your knee-jerk away. Anthony’s knife was a common sized pocket knife, so wtf Texas’s (Texas*!) ridiculous law on knife sizes is is irrelevant. They want you to focus on the knife. To problematize the inanimate object. Not only for the play regarding this specific case but they want to make as many things criminally problematic as they can. We used to scoff at the idea of illegal butcher knives and such but now they are actually criminalizing knife possession. Again, the brainwashing. And you are not just unaware of it but defending it. Which…again is how the brainwashing works.
*I have a knife with a six inch blade that I carry in my truck and on very rare fishing occasions, like the few times I think to grab it when it might come in handy, on my person. I now see that in…Texas!…I would be in violation by forgetfully bringing such a knife into a bar, hospital, nursing facility, church, synagogue, etc. What a stupid law. In Texas, no less.
Added: I guarantee you, regardless of “school rules”, plenty of kids in Texas, even especially white kids, especially the further out of the city you get in Texas, ignore or are ignorant of any rule regarding common pocket knives in schools. They “outlawed” them when I was in grade school in Florida in the 70’s. Some kids ignored it. Just stuck it in their pockets. Those of us who were Cubs scouts however felt more like we were under observation so we caved first.
Well, no I wasn’t watching the trial. I’ve other things to do. But I’m also not going to conjure up some grand outrageous conspiracy based on lawyerly deflection about knife cleanliness and size. Anthony’s lawyers had a poor hand to play so, not having facts or law on their side, they pounded the table . . . or the objects on it.
To no one’s surprise, a politician does the meme.
I wasn’t talking about the trial itself, because yes, I have better things to do as well Mr. Special. I literally said “The coverage in this case, especially from the leftists, has mentioned”. The coverage. I wasn’t talking about wtf his helpless lawyer said. I wouldn’t blame his lawyer for raising any such points given the hopeless case he had to present. I am talking about…the…the…the…coverage. And the brainwashing. But you clearly don’t understand how the latter works. Which is precisely how it works. The Narrative. It doesn’t spontaneously create itself.
Well, the original story is now adapted to the needs of The Message.
And that white woman who wrote the article was triggered into absolute ecstasies of delicious, delicious shame over her complicity and the oppression of black people, and her personal need for a nice old-fashioned beheading.
I saw that episode.

This. ☝️
And it seems a bit rich to rush to one’s fainting couch because someone used the word “savage”…
“It’s an apocalyptic scene in Belfast this morning” is how the BBC describes burnt out cars in Belfast. “Apocalyptic” is an escalation of rhetoric in general, given that it hardly looks like Hiroshima, it just looks like a routine news report from late 20th century Ulster. And in Northern Ireland, for a lot of protestant sects and now probably for a lot of evangelical African “communities”, “apocalyptic” has a biblical meaning, still taken literally, of final battles between pure and impure at the end of the world. What kicked it off was a Caravaggio scene of the victim struggling under the attempted beheader who then gets whacked on the head with a club, but the BBC doesn’t get biblical in describing that, they make it bland and pass on police warnings not to watch it.
Also on the BBC, an immigration lawyer called Gulbenkian explains that the UK would have had no right to keep the Sudanese guy out. Always rely on the BBC’s zealous reforming journalists to get at the issue behind the issue, or, as in this case, to tell us that there’s no issue and nothing more to discuss.
Updates on the Sudanese would-be beheader, can be found here:
More details regarding this latest triumph of compassion and multiculturalism will, I’m sure, unfold.
Because he’s an “asylum seeker” and international human rights law requires that he be protected and given sanctuary.
Don’t know why he couldn’t have sought sanctuary in any of the many African countries so much closer than are Ireland and the UK. But I do know: He wanted those sweet, sweet social welfare goodies. And the “human rights” lawyers also know that.
As I recall, the relevant laws do require that he seek sanctuary in the country closest to the one he is fleeing rather than shop around for maximum welfare benefits.
“Refugees” whose culture and practices are incompatible with ours should be denied entry regardless whether or not they face danger at home: Communists, fascists, islamists, etc. should not be given refuge in the West where they can harm us while plotting to do evil in their home countries. Think of all those communists who were given sanctuary when they fled the Nazis, or Khomeini and his minions.
In regards to stabbings and not hating the media enough, “…he used it one time…”
Two might have been criminal, I guess, unless it was to go to three, but four would have been right out.
Carl Benjamin has some thoughts on our pronoun-stipulator and the broader climate of hostility among lefties to people of pallor.
Because they need to make it about the knife. How clean or not clean it was, how many times it was used, if it had been used or could have been used for any other purpose other than killing Metcalf, etc. It doesn’t matter what sense any of it makes, nor does it matter that issues regarding it contradict each other, it doesn’t matter how irrelevant it is. All that matters is focusing discussion around or about the knife as much as possible. The real source of the problem is the racism in the black community. But the more time spent talking about the knife, the less room in the discussion space for the real issue.
Progress.
Not unrelated to the post above.
More cultural enrichment in Spain as illegal immigrant tries to burn down a pub.
The post-1965 sympathies are dying.
About all these “asylum seekers”: I want their asylum applications made public. Betcha they will often be very obviously bullshit. I wouldn’t even be surprised if many use the exact same language as if they were exercises in copy/paste.
@aelf: for you:

Further on that attack in Belfast:
Man votes for Leopards Eating People’s Faces party, is shocked when the leopard eats his face.
Slightly paraphrased.
Regarding the recent enrichment in Belfast, and all of the previous fits of diversity and vibrancy, and the ones that will likely happen in a week or two:
Sounds about right.
. The liberal political class wants us to treat atrocities like Belfast as single, random, isolated incidents.
“That is to say, we must never learn. Never learn being precisely the demand issued by politicians after every muslim atrocity”.
So many non-random incidents: Fake mistaken identity.
(This is a repeat of my “The post-1965 sympathies are dying” comment. I’m pleased to see this incident getting wider coverage.
The non-black version of “The Talk” by John Derbyshire.
One could do versions of “The Talk” for dealing with liberals, trans, and other mutants.
Civilized behavior outside the Karmelo Anthony trial:
Scroll down for spot-on visual commentary.
Some are angry that Karmelo Anthony is going to prison for 35 years.
I’m angry that too few blacks go to prison for decades.
Mentioned earlier.
This caught my eye:
From this thread on the subject of race.
Though much the same applies to a number of other topics.

Also this, on a remarkably common justification for civilisational self-annihilation:
Not, I think, an unfair summary of the phenomenon.
What should be done with enemies is left as an exercise for the reader.
I’ve seen or heard variations of the justification, or pseudo-justification, several times. And while the people who mouth it are obviously happy with the contrivance and perversity of their statements, they don’t seem to expect what one might regard as appropriate pushback.
As if they can have the perversity and send the oppositional signal – fuck you and yours, or something along those lines – without ever being taken seriously, taken at their word. And while enjoying every advantage of the society upon which they so pointedly wish destruction.
Speaking of which, and not picking on The Great White North* as it is hardly a phenomenon isolated there, but WTF?
A question must not be asked by an MP during Alphabet Ramadan states another MP.
Who doesn’t love a parade with floats and everything?
Another “pride” month drops celebrating the long history of manifest contributions to Canada.
*(If not now, soon, I imagine Great White North will require self-denunciation)
Which I suppose serves as a reminder that they aren’t merely wrong; they are dishonest, slippery. Morally disgusting.
From the link upthread:
I suspect that one may have to be wheeled out from time to time as well.
I’m just going to leave this here.
For when, not if, I need to refer back to it.
Exactly. Probably because they rarely if ever receive it. It doesn’t grow on trees.
And regarding comments about Pride Month, I was assured by many conservatives that this Pride Month thing was done for. Defeated. Now maybe, maaaaaaybe it’s on the downturn but it smells like spiking the football on the 40 yardline. Maybe their 40 yardline this time but…?
