Isn’t this rather a case of coals to Newcastle?
Although most male ballet dancers are gay, isn’t it the case that most ballerinas are straight?
According to Grok, small-scale studies do suggest that while male dancers being gay is very common indeed – an estimated 50-60% – lesbian ballerinas are much rarer – an estimated 3%.
I can’t help feeling there’s a joke in there somewhere.
Or a whole sitcom. At least a season or two. Side story? Would never get made though because they would have to work really hard, really hard to make very scold-y and not funny.
