If there’s one thing that comes to mind about American blacks, it’s that they’re penned in, forced into submissive postures while white men are encouraged to swagger and manspread. Or perhaps it’s that American blacks, most of whom according to the Moynihan report couldn’t say what their father or grandfather did for a living, have a more vivid memory of the humiliations of slavery 5-10 generations back.
