Titans Walk Among Us
Fearless masked heroes harass and berate the elderly and disabled.
For “social justice,” no doubt.
“Don’t fucking touch me!” shrieks the masked young woman, flanked by her masked comrades for intimidation purposes, and while jabbing her finger in the face of a random man and preventing his elderly, disabled mother from crossing the road.
Update, via the comments:
A longer video of the scene, featuring more of our bandana-wearing bedlamite, can be found here.
It must be strange to inhabit a social circle in which gratuitously harassing the elderly and disabled, and putting them in some fear for their safety, is regarded as a credential and proof of righteousness. To believe that such behaviour makes you look good and will earn you in-group status. It’s a pretty good measure of just how perverse, and morally demented, the Antifa mindset is.
It reminded me of a telling incident at a conservative convention during the Occupy fad of 2011, in which a mob of Occupiers, largely middle-class Clown Quarter students, amused themselves by trapping a random disabled woman – in a wheelchair and with an assistance dog – jeering at her predicament and telling her, “This is what democracy looks like.” Because nothing screams radical piety like preventing a disabled woman from getting home. And then assaulting her, while trying to steal her assistance dog. Sadly, video of the incident – complete with grinning faces – seems to have been purged from YouTube.
Update 2:
In the comments, [+] notes the brandishing of a “Resist Hate” placard and quips, “Lefties project.”
Well, yes. For some, it’s like breathing.
Thing is, I don’t think of Antifa as a political entity, as such, at least not primarily. I don’t think that’s what ultimately drives them. Yes, its adherents share a self-flattering, rather paranoid ideology, one that’s propagated and encouraged in academia’s Clown Quarter. But I think the political theatrics are basically a fig leaf, a pretext for indulging sociopathic urges. Hence the lack of even rudimentary discrimination when it comes to targets – for instance, calling little old disabled ladies “Nazi scum.” To a very large degree, these are just resentful misfits who enjoy abusing other people, frightening them, while exulting in mob power. The ludicrous political noises are merely a vehicle, a convenient excuse.
As I’ve said before, if it were found that a remarkable percentage of these people had Cluster B personality disorders, way above the average, I would not be at all surprised.
Update 3, via Mr Muldoon in the comments:
The gentleman being harassed in the video, Don Henderson, responds to being called “Nazi scum.” Needless to say, ironies abound.
Update 4:
According to Antifa and their boosters, Mohawk College “should be ashamed” for hosting a free speech event at which non-leftist people were allowed to speak and other non-leftist people were allowed to hear them and ask questions. We’re also informed that the elderly lady, the one having difficulty walking, “chose to wade through the centre of the protest.”
Yes, she waded into those poor masked protestors, doubtless itching for a rumble.
But I think the political theatrics are basically a fig leaf, a pretext for indulging sociopathic urges.
I tend to agree, so the question is: do they disband once they meet actual opposition? Given the soft-ass punks that make up the bulk of their number I’d bet yes. But given their usefulness to the Left’s political movement I’m not totally sure.
To them everyone who is not them is Nazi scum, as the Nazi scum with his Nazi scum mom from the video noted, “I just didn’t realize it”.
To paraphrase the great Thomas Sowell, and for these LARPing gits, the demand for Nazis greatly outstrips the supply.
That. 🙂
But she is. I mean, how would you parody something like that? It’s already cartoonish. And it’s clear that Ms O’Donnell isn’t animated by an economic perspective or some political issue in any meaningful sense. She just wants to grandstand and be needlessly obnoxious – the rest is, at best, a pretext, a feeble rationalisation. And rather tellingly, the politeness of her targets, their non-threatening nature, merely encourages her to be even more gratuitous and spiteful. As she says in a brief moment of honesty, “I don’t want to have a civil discussion. I want to call you assholes.”
See also the second item here, in which the insufferably woke Ms Annaliese Nielsen relentlessly bullies a taxi driver.
Note the psychology.
I tend to agree, so the question is: do they disband once they meet actual opposition?
They haven’t been back to Auburn.
Don’t know about this lot (language warning) Ace linked last night and who were dealt with by the rozzers in a quite satisfying manner, but I suspect if there were more of this, there would be a lot less granny harassment.
“To them everyone who is not them is Nazi scum…”
And yet “moderate” liberals protect these thugs. It’s enough to make you wonder if their moderation is a lie.
Update
The man in the video responds. His family fought actual Nazis.

Somehow, I think that will be lost on the antifa kids.
Let’s assume the Antifa are sociopaths looking for an excuse to commit intimidation and violence. How should they be dealt with?
It’s a simple process. Hold them responsible for their misdeeds. Whenever they commit a crime, arrest and charge them. Levy fines, or better yet have them spend time in jail. Let the public see their faces. Make it expensive for them, both socially and financially. Draw a direct line for them between crime and punishment. Yes they’ll scream in outrage over the injustice. Let them.
Sociopaths have a high regard for their self interest. They will soon figure out that being an Antifa is too costly, and move on to more traditional sociopathic pursuits like running for office.
so the question is: do they disband once they meet actual opposition? Given the soft-ass punks that make up the bulk of their number I’d bet yes.
Similar to what FMM said, do they need to meet actual opposition? They can make news and feel all good about their behavior in places like Portland, Berkeley, and similar. So long as they can project the image of fearlessness and so long as police are told/choose to stand down, and so long as regular citizens are more afraid of the legal ramifications, not to mention civil court, for pushing back, what difference does it make? This is one problem with the helicopter solution, it goes on quietly and doesn’t project the strong horse. Though I was kind of surprised at how good it felt for me to watch this:

The police moving forward, not sitting back taking abuse but pursuing these clowns. However I’m not sure images like this are being broadcast (I don’t watch much MSM anymore, nor listen to supposedly “conservative” radio) to the degree that is necessary to get the point across. Though I am slightly more hopeful. Yet the #NeverTrump so-called conservatives and their apologists joining in on the impeachment chorus is gnawing away at that feeling.
The police moving forward, not sitting back taking abuse but pursuing these clowns.
Federal cops, though, apparently the Portland popo still told to keep hands off these cupcakes. Still, better than nothing.
Yes, meant to point that out. These were “federal police”, not the Peoples’ Republic of Portlandia. Not sure what their limitations are. Aside from DC and Capitol Hill and such, didn’t know we had “federal” police officers. Though I believe that video was outside of an ICE facility or something similar. Still the action was taking place on city streets.
Let’s assume the Antifa are sociopaths looking for an excuse to commit intimidation and violence. How should they be dealt with?
Simply enforcing the existing law would do it, but the most important thing about these videos, the buried lede, the thing that more and more people are taking away from them, is that you have masked thugs beating and intimidating innocent bystanders and the cops are wilfully negligent. There’s a video from Berkeley in which that psychopath Yvette Felarca repeatedly body-punches a man less than twenty feet from a line of riot cops, on video, while her target repeatedly excoriates the police for doing nothing…and the cops do nothing.
“The cops are not on your side” is starting to break through to the average person. When that realization reaches critical mass, the excrement is really going to hit the fan.
One of the clowns from the video may have been identified, not that I expect anything will happen to him, purportedly a Syrian “refugee”, the irony of which would be really ironic.
According to Antifa and their boosters, Mohawk College “should be ashamed” for hosting a free speech event at which non-leftist people were allowed to speak and other non-leftist people were allowed to hear them and ask questions.
Lefties project.
Lefties project.
And note the inevitable inversion and displacement of responsibility. If only people didn’t want free speech. If only the event had been shut down as we demanded. If only little old ladies knew their place and didn’t try to cross the road, then we wouldn’t have to bully them, menace them and call them “Nazi scum.” Because, it turns out, they’re the real victims here. It’s the wife-beater’s lament: “Don’t make me hurt you, baby. You know I hate hurting you.”
Again, Antifa isn’t so much a political entity as a psychological one. It’s a ball of pathology.
Again, Antifa isn’t so much a political entity as a psychological one. It’s a ball of pathology.
And yet it functions as an enforcement arm of the rest of the Left.
I suggest that a more accurate formulation would be “Leftism is a ball of pathology.”
Matt Christiansen has some thoughts on the incident and the subsequent media coverage.
