Attention, all white women. You and your “whiteness” are “causing real harm and violence.” You are, to put it bluntly, “a perpetrator of harm.”
And so, obviously, what you need is a workshop, where you can “confront your participation in the oppression of others,” which is to say, “confront white womanhood,” and thereby be in “true solidarity” with beings of colour, who are flawless, downtrodden and inherently more noble. Given your own vile and corrupting nature, interaction with beings of colour must only be attempted after following the guidance of suitably enlightened instructors. Instructors who will bestow intersectional epiphanies by steering you to the works of these lofty, selfless warriors, and also to articles published in that high-minded journal for troubled women, Everyday Feminism.
For a mere $20, you could be stewing in the wisdom of, among others, “artist and activist” Heather Marie Scholl, who was famously interviewed by Gavin McInnes, and whose creative efforts “examine white women’s roles in the establishment and maintenance of white supremacy through… embroidery techniques.” When not toppling the patriarchy with unattractive needlework, or “approaching social justice issues with a productive emotionality,” Ms Scholl boasts of her “BA from The Evergreen State College in Race, Gender and Sexuality.”
So, ladies. Sunday March 4 is the date for your diary. Book early.
It would appear that Emily Lakdawit has preemptively blocked half of Twitter. One notices that she didn’t ask whether this was desired; rather, she simply assumed that none of us wanted our joy sucked out by her. The Woke AF Black Community, however, are going to find themselves afflicted by her just as soon as she whinges enough that they give in and grant her permission to show up.
This leaves one to observe that she’s going out of her way to be kind to her white critics, while promising to torment her black “friends” at the earliest opportunity. In what world is this kind of racist behavior acceptable?
Apparently, all white women should pay to submit to an experience that their own judgement will tell them is unwarranted and painful, because they should feel pain, because, being white, they deserve it.

Putting the on-the-face-of-it stupidity of the actual protest and the school administration’s caving in aside, did these administrators not understand that this move would attract far more attention, much of it highly negative, than 16 & 17 year old children should be subjected to? Young/teenage high profile athletes are generally protected and/or heavily advised on dealing with even very friendly oriented fame. To subject young people to what is certain to be significant national and possibly international outrage borders on child abuse. They must know what they’re putting these kids into. The kids have no idea, they’re just naively fame seeking.
