The on line comments to the original press release are priceless, including this gem:

Yes, it’s the bare-faced denial of any objective criteria or ethical rationale. Phobias, prejudice and oppression are whatever we (or I) say they are. And the basis for apology, compensation and flattery is whatever we (or I) say it is. It’s an egomaniacal license, and very much in fashion.
