The Ayaan Hirsi Ali interview was interesting but quite why she’s considered ‘controversial’ I cannot imagine, since what she says and writes makes perfect sense to me. A good find!
Thanks for the Ayaan Hirsi Ali video. She’s great (as usual). Agree with Robert though -the guy interviewing her gets nervous when she says something really obvious like some values are better than others -he looks shocked. When she asks him what’s ‘rightwing’ about what she says he just gets flustered.
Yes, Jian Ghomeshi’s reactions are quite revealing.
The ‘complexity graphics’ are beautiful.
“At last, a use for fly eyes.”
I can top that. At last, a use for fly legs…

Artists, eh?
A debate between Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Priyamvada Gopal would be interesting indeed, and I suspect Gopal would be reduced to leftist boilerplate gibberish in short order.
Oh wouldn’t I love to see that, Spiny. In our dreams though.
As for beards, I had a full one for many years. Pain in the ass, really. Despite that, I’ve always thought that facial hair is an attempt to hide a fault.
