A primary school has held up a trans man as a positive example of masculinity in teaching materials for its pupils. Streatham Wells School, in south-west London, said Elliot Page, the Canadian actor who medically transitioned with cross-sex hormones along with gender surgery and now identifies as a man, showed that masculinity “can mean softness and strength.”
The school used the example of Page, along with the singer Harry Styles, to show children how men can be multi-dimensional.
In an article for the online newsletter Teachwire, Sarah Wordlaw, the head teacher… wrote: “It is important to teach pupils about harmful stereotypes about masculinity… It is extremely important to teach about positive masculinities.”
Because a mentally ill, self-harming woman, one seemingly forever on the verge of tears, is now a “positive example of masculinity.” A role model for primary-school children.

Re: retreating from masculinity: A perfect example of true masculinity was during the Houston hurricane a few years ago where they got massive flooding. Dozens (hundreds?) of good old boys, most about 35 yrs old, with a beard, white, drove up from Louisiana and South Texas with their bass boats. This is a shallow draft boat maybe 15 feet long meant for a couple guys to go fishing on a small stream. They rescued hundreds of people and pets. I saw one black man in a jet ski. These guys did heroic work. One woman I learned about helped coordinate it all online from a safe distance. The further we get from nature/reality, the more women think they do not need men. But when shit hits the fan you certainly do.

Contrast with that overweight, out of shape deputy LA fire chief or whatever she was proudly justifying her inability to carry some guy out of a burning building because “he got himself into a bad situation”.
And to the OP – those malicious bints would never show those bass boat guys rescuing people as examples of masculinity for students.
AND the bass boat guys did not ask who you voted for or what color you were, in contrast to the horror in NC after the hurricane last year. ComputerLabRat: thanks for the photo.
