- You Can't Afford My Radical Life
LOL. Been there.
I miss my old dog.
I feel his pain. 🙂
I thought the Black and White Minstrels were out of fashion?
I do like dogs, but I don’t like mud. I’m so conflicted.
Dogs gotta dog. Four legs rule! Two legs fall right over.
OT but Holy Shit, a prescient housing documentary by Richard Curtis in 1984!
But the dog looks fairly clean.
That illustrates perfectly why I have a preference for cats.

Well, that’s spooky. My aunt lives in the flats in that shot you linked to. And I’ve just been speaking to her.
On a more serious note, they’re no longer owned by the council, and were completely refurbished two or three years ago. I can’t honestly recall if they’re still clad or not. The most pressing concern for the residents back in 1984 was crime, and drug addicts using the stairwells and lifts. Despite the bright orange-painted cladding, they were an absolute hellhole. That’s been addressed pretty well, though. They’re actually rather pleasant these days.
That illustrates perfectly why I have a preference for cats.
Dogs are more fun, I think, but I like cats aesthetically. However, I’m allergic to their hair, or dander or whatever it is. Which of course means that when I visit someone who owns a cat, the animal immediately zeros in and demands fuss from me, resulting in lots of hand-washing and antihistamine.
