Per my comment about dating and paying: the divorce rate goes down as his income goes up (outside of Hollywood and politics of course). It is only 7% for engineers, who both have a good steady income AND can fix things. Do not tell me that engineers are great lovers or romantics–I know a bunch of them.
why do women still want men to pay for the date?
IMHO you have way too many women who want the traditional perks but to ignore the totality of the tradition.
My grandma and mom taught me that the inviter pays for the date BUT the invitee is under obligation to NOT take advantage of inviter’s willingness to pay and to reciprocate in a timely manner. Too many “I can do anything I want” feminists feel that means they can use dating as a way for a free meal with no manners to reciprocate. Indeed, there’s a kind of “well, he should be grateful for my mere existence at the table” attitude.
I want to slap the snot out of these little girls (of all ages) for such ugly self-centeredness. They do not make society a better place.
Didn’t this blog link recently to a young woman’s boast that she used dating apps to get free meals with zero interest in any of the men who invited her?
I already knew that spreading malicious rumors was a common female activity
And when she is unable to refute the boy, she reflexively falls back on anti-white racist epithets
And for God’s sake do not marry them
deep down women still (and always will be) looking for a good provider

Sooner or later, everyone comes around to patriarchy.
I have known (to my sorrow) many feminists who seem to have seen feminism mainly as a way to get privileges without responsibility.
Who decides all this? Is there like a College of Arms, or something?
College? More like an Asylum.

Nice WKRP in Cincinnati reference. One of the top ten TV moments ever.
A good use for the Brit term “bint”

Cultural appropriation and adulteration – is Arabic for “daughter” – but what would one expect from egregious colonizers.
Interesting. Note the linguistic similarity to the Hebrew “bat”.
I think I have heard of that locution popping up around the world. Do you recall how, in the TV series MASH, a moose was what soldiers would call to a young Korean girl who provided domestic labor or sexual services? I was told that “moose” derived from the Japanese “musume” which means “daughter” or “girl”.

And even more so to its plural, banot.
