In what I am sure will come as a shocking and ironic revelation, the therapist is herself a survivor or sexual assault trauma.
It always, always, always comes down to Complex PTSD. As a society, we have deliberately pursued social policies that increase the likelihood of our daughters being raped as children by orders of magnitude, and then we allow those broken children to be used as props and levers to push even more destructive social agendas.
